I grabbed Tales because all the cool kids are doing it. I could use a break from turn based JRPGs every now and then as well.

I wonder if this will hurt me in BB. I always start playing something else once a tournament starts up here. :/

Skullgirls should be out next week as well and I want to try that out, and $15 is too good to pass up.

Hey Livewire, lets try to play our matches over the weekend, maybe Saturday?

Yo livewire, so did you remember to try the no 2D training regime :V.

For Noel? Sure. For Makoto, Jin, and Tao (despite that making no sense for her AT ALL)? Hells to the no! :bee:

And sure, Rutger. But the weekend is Easter Weekend and I've got family coming down for a bit over it, so it partly depends on that.

People only wanted you to do it for noel.

Why would anyone suggest that for any other character...?

I didn't even think of that.

It's cool if it doesn't happen this weekend, we've been given a very generous deadline for the first match, so no rush.

So, I stumbled into the "feed everybody to St1ckBuG" PSN room tonight...Yeah...was fun. I think.
FEED ME

On a related note, I'm getting some good practice in. Still a long way to go though. My Plat still can't fully hold a candle to my auto-pilot Litchi... even not knowing full combos :C

It's discouraging... but at least I can hop back to Litchi mayhaps.

Just got Extend on 360 last night and am waiting on my fight stick to come in the mail. Which is good, as I'll have no time to play it this weekend. (Work, work, work.)

Going to be working with my current experience on the PSP version of BlazBlue 1, and then learning everything from scratch on the fight stick and the new BlazBlue, as a lot has changed apparently. Anyways, cannot wait to start playing during the week.

The World Ends With You <3. One of the best games on DS ever.

Agreed. Totally came at the right time too since when it came out I was getting all apathetic that "ugh, most of these RPGs are all the same now". Not to mention a game having a good soundtrack never hurts. It's funny how the 2 games that rekindled my RPG interest were both DS games (TWEWY and Sands of Destruction).

It's a shame that TWEWY didn't get that much advertisement/acknowledgement, though X__X. Barely anyone knows about the game, and it kind of sucks because the game deserves a bit of recognition, you know XD?

Considering that the DS is a JRPG goldmine, that really isn't too surprising. :/

TWEWY was a cool game, but the battle system was a bit of a mess imo. Still really fun, but I guess I'm more of a fan of a solid system that might not do anything new.

The battle system wasn't a mess, I found myself able to master it pretty quickly. After all, the game did ease you through it at a nice pace.

I didn't mean that as a bad thing. The game is easy to understand and I was never mad at the battle system itself.

I just think it could use some refining and be turned into something more, it was really good for it's first(and probably only) try at what it created though.

I'm also pretty biased towards turn-based systems, so TWEWY as a DS game has to compete against several Atlus JRPGs that I love. :/

Edit: TWEWY was far better than FFXIII imo though. I do love TWEWY, I'm not trying to hate on it.

Yeah, I totally agree. But it gets credit as the first time non-Disney/KH/Final Fantasy characters make an appearance in a Kingdom Hearts game.

And yeah, I know it's off topic mods/admins, etc. Sorry. But it's a good off topic, lol.

lol I wasn't mad or anything. Sorry if it seemed that way though.

Just cannot wait for Tues, as that'll be the day that I can actually sit down and play some Extend without a care in the world.

In Sephiroth's hands.
I'm having a hard time with some of these Hakumen arial combos.

Like the airdash after the first j.2a is hard for me to pull off. That and even when I do airdash, it's always too late and I don't hit with the 2nd one.

I think I'll never make progress with this game.

If his main problem is doing a combo at all, he should probably just focus on something he can do rather than weigh damage against corner carry.

I think it has a little more carry, and a little less damage. Not too sure, but it is waaay easier.

Man, I hate lag spikes, they can suck my nuts. >:V

Away from you.
I've had EX for about a week now and I still can't do very much in it. Makes me feel bad that most of the time I go into a room to play and get kicked right after being 2-0'd really badly... lol

I want to play to get decent! :(

Yeah, I was in this room last night and I kept getting dropped from it either in the middle of watching a match or of my matches, and I had no idea why. Of course...then I went upstairs after and remembered I'd been downloading a PPV and forgot to pause it before I went. D'oh. :urg:

You can do it! Just play and practice a lot. :)

It's not that bad, compared to some.

Honestly, I just think it was the guy I was playing against, he was probably downloading stuff or something.
