never, it will never be. Melee is dead and you know it! Go away and stop being a douche!

Naw I'm kidding jeez. Anywho, when will a Brawl one come out? I want to know who to watch for a strive to become as good as, or better than.

How many tournaments have you played in? If that number isn't well in the double digits, then you have no chance; not for now anyways.
My first or second tournament I went on, same with Tony I think.

Im pretty sure Tony deserves ATLEAST top5 he is still freaking ****. Took you out twice Adam. I also dont see how Eric is above me. If we are still basing this PR on tourney results im pretty sure i've been doing beyond great with my sandbag characters.

Also please just let the Melee PR die. More then half the people just play melee for fun now and dont care about this. The only people who really truely care are the people going up (because the people at the top stop caring and are moving on)

i would sugest making seperate PR's
lots of people play melee still over brawl, like a huge amount!
and these people would like PR for a motive, or competition, or even knowing where they stand.

If by huge you mean a few.
Tiep, a reminder we still care about your algorithm. This topic is seriously a mess and probably has more drama on one page than the entire general-purpose BC thread.

1. Eric
2. Jon
3. Tiep
4. Manuel
5. Me
6. Tony
7. Ryan
8. Roby
9.?
10.?
The crew battle involving:
Team1:
Superboom, Tony, Ryan, Tiep

Team2:
Eggz, Roby, Adam

Team 1 won even given how everybody prefers to have less players in order to give better players more stocks. I went even stocks with Eggz, and I'm pretty sure that superboom took out 3-4 of your stocks using his 5, Adam.
Which means our victory was on Ryan and Tony taking off more stocks.

...I fail to see why they were given the boot?

Could we just have a final PR? Like, if everyone on the PR (whatever it is currently) just stopped playing it entirely, we'd just have this one last list? I just want to be on it once. e_e

MAYLAY OFISHAL POWWER RANGKEENGS
1-9=GUYZ
10=META!

Happy now?

Srsly, even if you do make it, a lot of that just has to do with a bunch of people who simply stopped playing.

I still think I've proved myself as a worthy competitor, and that's all that really matters to me; it's the whole reason I even wanted to be included on the PR. It's not like "DURR I HAVE A NUMBER", it actually means something to me to be recognized as a good or at least decent player by local competitive standards. I don't think there's anyone in BC right now that has a 100% chance of beating me in a tournament anymore (that's not to say some people are VERY likely to beat me), because I actually know what I'm doing now.

It's about recognition, and I'll take what I can get, provided it's positive.

But in that case Evan, wouldn't being put on PR by request ruin your satisfaction?

Well Evan, the only issue with you is you seem to gloss over requests. Like the time Tiep asked for pages about Lylat Cruise and Pokemon Stadium. Or like the time I asked about you uploading the SFU #6 results to allisbrawl!
Speaking of glossing over requests... I haven't glossed over the one for that algorithm.

I just wanna change my code over to c++ first. Then I need some tourney results to feed it data!!!!

If no results can be provided, I will be writing my own tourney results generator.

Much better.

But seriously, it's just a game, one which many people better than you have pretty much given up. Making it onto the melee PR after Brawl is already out doesn't really mean a heck of a lot.

And might I ask, when was the last time you beat anyone in the top 5 in a single match when they weren't sandbagging? I bet I could count all of those matches on none hands. Quit being so full of yourself.

It does to me, and I honestly don't care about your opinion. Of course, I know you're going to respond to this even though it's really not necessary, because I know it's just eating you up inside as you read this; you want to point out how stupid I am for giving two sh*ts about this and you won't leave it alone until you've said every word you can to make me change my mind, but the fact of the matter is, it's not going to happen. I've had my only goal in competitive smash set on making this list ever since John first mentioned it, and I'm not going to stop trying until it ceases to exist.

Also, I have actually beaten every player on that list in at least one tournament round (not set), with the exception of John and Eric. I know it doesn't mean much, but whatever. >_>
