I still <3 Kirby, but I can't do anything more with him until I become a better player. Having amassed amounts of knowledge about the ins and outs of Kirby doesn't help if I'm not a great player. So I swapped over to Fox so that I can stop letting my knowledge of Kirby cover-up my weaknesses as a player.

Joey if you play Fox, you're going to learn how to effectively play Fox.
You need to play both of them if you want to get better with both of them or you're going to be really disoriented when you go back to Kirby and find that he doesn't have that momentum-carrying Fair as a recovery tool or the speed to close the gap against a camper.

A TOURNAMENT IN KILLEEN??! That's where I used to live. If it's there, chances are they're not actual smashers and won't be playing with a good rule list. They're a bunch of fighting game junkies from shoryuken or the like; just saying to prepare you guys.

I'd go with Mike2 or Mike3. They're the only two Austinites who almost always attend every single Smashfest, even when there are three to four Smashfests in a row in a single week.

Mike2 travels pretty consistently; Mike3 has only been with us for about 2 months or so and has yet to attend a tournament (I think). Mike2 also drives Austin whenever I can't make a tournament, which was quite often last semester.

I thought I was pretty dedicated with the way I badger... er... try to convince people to drive me to tournaments, but I do agree about Mike2.
Anyways, I guess we'll be going to Phase. Hopefully we can get more people to go with us.
Oh, and I almost forgot. There's a tournament for Smash 64 tomorrow at Jester, then on Wednesday is Melee, then Brawl on Thursday. I think you have to be a UT student to enter, though.
