i wish we could sacrifice.

i would look out for kalm to make a run at this, if he could go to tourneys, but he cant, so like...
we got janitor, me, cam, kola, munkus, aloha idk man alot of people that are all wanting and saying they want higher or think they are better.

well actually all munkus said was that he was king ******

lol anyways point being, im excited for the competetion!

We are no where near an update. We need to have more tournaments. I'm very excited to see a bit of revitalization in our community (atleast for today anyway). The more i've been playing lately, the more i just want to have fun playing. I have fun playing this game when i get to chill/beat you guys playing this game. I'm not dropping ICs, but i think i'm picking up Wolf because he's cool. Anyways, i just want you guys to maintain this interest. I was planning on going to MLG DC, but i may just try and goto AUSOM2 and Siege instead as long as you most of you guys try to make those tournaments as well, it's been too long since i've seen some of you guys...

Tell me about it.

I basically fought elev8's ensemble cast up in Seattle, and I knew some of the tricks for the characters simply through that experience. I'd say "yeah, the reason why I won is because I played against a really good X in bama..." and then that player would be elev8.

I've talked about the idea of only having the top 5 : P I want to make the community happier and it seems that only having a top 5 wouldn't do so. We know who are best players are at the moment, and when the others catch up then being in the top 5 will be fitting for others. I base other players in the opposite way though depending on what I hear. So my thoughts are usually over exaggerated.

HOWEVER I am determined to actually get a really accurate list for the next update. I'll even replace a few panelist before then if need be (including myself). With each update we get closer and closer to an accurate one and I feel the next one can only get better. (b' ')b

Yes, the PR is what makes the unranked members want to fight for. (Well the new ones anyway). It's not until you get on the PR that you realize the empty feeling of it.

It's been awhile since I've seen it promote healthy competition. The people who mostly look at it are those who are already on it or those who think they should be on it already. I rarely see people admit that they still have work to do before they deserve a spot. They want immediate satisfaction and think because they got 9th in a small tournament or something they have earned it.

That's another thing: we don't have enough active players to justify a 10-man PR in my opinion. Top 5 is where the "great" players are, and I believe top 5 should be as far as we go.

TBH from what I've seen and experienced if the right people continue to do well, would actually go to tournaments and not sandbag *coughJason* then I see myself dropping in the PR by at least 3 spots.

^Yep, like I've said it's way too early to discuss the update.

Going to Ausom and Siege instead sounds great to me, I get to get some long wanted friendlies in.

Melee and vBrawl event you guys. plus its the day before mah birthday. yall could use this event to work on your PR. Maybe even have some actually brawl players from TN show up too. (by brawl i mean vBrawl not Brawl+ since the project officially died a couple days ago)

Plus ill Have something special going on the side too.

Also, Luigi doesn't have a true combo Jab > UpB on Olimar, you can smash DI the jab behind Luigi and Usmash him. Brood did this consistently to Lounis. True story. Silly Japanese players and they're amazing Smash DI.

Brood also smash DI'd out of Falco's jab to Fair consistently until Larry was like, "How about some double jab cancel?" and then it was gg.

I'd have to see it to believe that.

If he can SDI Luigi's jabs consistently ON PURPOSE then he's god and shouldn't be losing to anyone.

I love to play $30 for tournaments even when I go home with nothing in my wallet (like 90% of the time).

I think of it like going to a park or something with a group of friends and just hanging out doing what we like to do.

blargh I think I'll pull of something amazing and get top 4 this tournament. Billy rig the brackets to make this happen.

I've been planning on going to AWA for over 2 months and Dan told us he was coming over this week. Dan, come over another weekend!

Why does AWA have to be the same weekend that Dan comes over? It makes me sad. :(

Alright guys, this is a copy pasta from a billion other places. I'm trying to attend AWA this season, and I have paid for a pass to get there, the only problem is I have to ride to the venue or whatever it may be; on top of that I have work that day from 11-4, so there's only a two hour time period from then to the tournament beginning. Would anyone be willing, for a bit of gas money, to take me to the venue and possibly back home? I'm sorry to be an inconvenience :(
