this is very bad reasoning to dismiss people's suspicions of plank rigging his bracket. i don't really know the full facts of the situation, but you basically just said he can cheat because he ran the tournament or, since he ran the tournament, he should be allowed to have an easy bracket. i don't really care much. i mean it's old, let it go. but i think you added more to the accusations by saying people shouldn't care whether he did or didn't........Also, pound 4 kicked ***. good **** plank : ).

... his opponent didn't report him, as with pretty much all tournaments, your opponent is responsible for reporting you because they get the advantage if you're DQ'd.
When Meep didn't show for our match at snes you can bet I reported him ASAP (was he even there that day? I dunno).
Obviously warrior knight's opponent didn't care so he lost out on the free win and it really sucks to be that team if they lost.

Couldn't have said it better.
He got a great venue. Got us our own shuttle service. Discounts on the TWO hotels which were conveniently NEXT to each other and across the street from a shopping center with just about anything to eat (Chipotle, McDonalds, Panda Express, a movie theater lol). Food at the venue. Bought a bunch of TVs. Spent a long time on this tournament.
He sacrificed so much for it, and all people can do is find a thing to bytch about.

i have no idea where to post this but... does anyone know where/if there will be a consolidated youtube upload of all the matches? i heard vgbootcamp was going to but i check frequently and ive seen 0 uploads

Just do yourselves a favor and be happy you didn't sleep on planks floor. I couldn't sleep, felt like **** and it sucked.

Pound 4; No one is safe from the DQ. Not even Mew2King. DUN DUN DUUUH!
I was said when you didn't pay out 7th in teams, even though you told me you would at the venue.
I was also sad that you didn't move all the WC from my last pool. (Causing SS to throw the set to Falcomist causing me to get a 2nd seed instead of a first.)
Melee should have finished the 2nd day as planned XD
Really my only three complaints.
Venue was amazing.
Hotel was very nice.
Tournament ran pretty fast with plenty of friendly time for everyone. (May have been most friendlies played)
All the crazy people out of country/state/language really made it what it was.

My only complaint is that Melee didn't finish on Day 2. I made plans around that and ended up missing the last 6-7 sets of the tourney in order to catch my flight. Other than that, *Pound* 4 weekend was about as good as it gets, so good **** Plank.

I almost posted dumb **** like jugfingers, but then I ACTUALLY READ THROUGH THE THREAD, and saw plank's good responses to Jman/M2k drama, and ****
what i pulled out:
-Plank got a really lucky but completely unrigged bracket
-LOLLL Jman breaking bottles and not finding car keys is hilarious. I have no respect for any top player who can't handle his/her life. Or spell for that matter. That doesn't mean I don't think your fox is the ****
-QQ more m2k. You're amazing, but that post was completely biased.
-This was an amazing tourney.
-Europe is responsible and gets to things on time
-People who don't read the entire thread but make a dumb post immediately without looking at both sides: **** YOU ALL

People who tell M2k to stop whining sound as though they've never been through a ****ty circumstance, completely out of their hands, of their own.
Ever see the movie Little Miss Sunshine? Remember that ***** at the beauty pagaent who wouldn't let them enter because they were like four minutes late? That's you right now. You would have ended the movie right there. *******s.
I understand Plank's position because rules are rules and ****, but it's not like we're all robots set in stone. He could have made an exception (and apparently did, for Warriorknight?)

So let me get this straight: M2K and Jman's opponents in the first round (Doll and saved) were willing to forfeit their match after the fact when Jman arrived, despite having already advanced, and Plank didn't let them? If so then I disagree with Plank's decision. Since all parties were in agreement, he should have allowed the forfeit. Kicking them out for good despite their opponents being gracious about them running late and everyone being otherwise agreeable to it sounds like he has some kind of personal dislike for M2K. Bad move as a TO. And yes, I read the whole thread. I don't recall this ever being mentioned.
Otherwise this was a fantastic tournament (except I missed the 3rd day matches due to my flight) but hey, it happens. Thank you Plank!

Ah ok, I reread Plank's first post and I see it. M2K has a different story though. I guess we would have to ask Doll to be sure.
