Maybe Ryu Hayabusa. He's popular and would draw heads, but Ninja Gaiden is sorta niche these days and he isn't showing up all that much outside of DOA.

I’m about to be unbanned. I wanted to post this in the social but... well that ain’t happening. So I figured i’d share it here. It’s my take on that whole “if you could add a franchise to smash” thing that Venus posted.

I assume Fighter Spirits don’t count.

Also, I don’t care if other people have done these or not. I was a forum ghost during a crisis. I’m having fun. And I’m starting with the trailer to keep my picks a surprise. Even if you could guess them.

The Nintendo gang are all unwrapping presents. It looks exactly like you’d think a Nintendo Christmas party would look. But Donkey Kong is sad. He’s just looking out the window, staring at a snowman, forelorned. Mario walks up to him and hands him a gift. He opens it, but we don’t see what it is. We heard the familiar opening notes of a theme song “da da da dum”. A knock on the door with the follow up “da da da dum”. DK opens the door and sees Banjo and Kazooie! Their theme on full blast, the ape hugs his long lost friends and Banjo triumphantly holds up a Smash Invite. Then a splash screen. “Banjo and Kazooie return in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!”

Mario runs on stage jumps, throws crappy, jumps, and lands on a platform across the gap, collecting a power moon. A rustling is seen in the trees behind him. Sonic is shown running. He parcoures up a shaft and onto the platform, into the goal ring and does a win pose. A black streak flies by in the sky behind him. Banjo and Kazooie fly through the skies and snatch a Jiggy, landing on the platform and doing the Banjo dance. The camera pans out to show they were all on the same platform. They all start laughing before Sonic is hit in the face with a fruit, leaving a purple mark. Mario laughs harder before getting singed by fire. The three heroes turn to see Spyro and Crash standing there getting simultaneous splash screens. The music from the reignited reveal trailer remixed with Crash music begins playing and Spyro says “Look’s like we’ve got some things to do!” and Crash giggles. Gameplay is shown off before the logo screen. The final shot is of Crash doing the Crash dance while Spyro rolls his eyes.

Spoiler: The Kings of Fighters

It’s the aftermath of the Kencineroar trailer. Incineroar is battling Ryu before being ring outed by a Shinku Hadooken. He breaths in victory before starting at the sound of laughter. “What a waste of potential” is heard in Japanese. Ryu turns to face the mystery man. “You squander your talents on these buffoons!” The Challenger lifts himself into the ring. “Come! Now you face The King of the Iron Fist!” Heihachi is revealed completely and gets his splash screen. Gameplay is showcased and we cut back to the cinematic. Now in The King of the Iron Fist Arena. Ryu continues to punch Heihachi as he parry’s before both swiftly dodge out of the way of a metal spear. The chain reals back to its owner who teleports in a puff of flame into the ring. Scorpion is given a splash screen and rushes into the fight before cutting back to gameplay. The last shot is of all three standing on the famous Mortal Kombat Pit bridge before rushing at each other again.
