So I am pretty much confirmed to go. I do have a question though. Feb. 19th, 20th, and 21st is on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Is there a reason for this? Or is this just a typo?

I'll either already quit my job by January or be fired from it today.
Either way I'll still have the funds to go to this.
I would love to stay for Monday too but my ride has to go to college that Monday. So unless someone gives me a ride back to Southern VA I cannont stay.

Monday will most likely be finals matches, crews, buy-in tourney continuations and such. It is also presidents day, which means a lot of schools give you off, i tried to factor that in my decision!
With 600 entrants last pound it ran us 3 days. Although i am going to get **** done lightning speed last time i still doubt i could finish it ALL in 2 days, with melee, brawl, and the buy-in tournaments included.
UPDATE:: As far as SSF goes we may or may not still be running it
The reason it was possibly going to be cancelled was because of conflicting dates, but it seems like that is going to be worked out now.

Teh ICY, I know a lot of canadians are coming obviously. There's been a decent bit of australian interest too, as well as some south american interest but I'm not totally sure which players.
As far as top players I know from Europe Amsah, possibly remen/faab/armada/ivo, HDL from PR (and hopefully more, last time they brought a freaking football team LOL) , and more.
im gonna try and get on md/va locals to register in other threads, theyre wasting money

Yes, the venue is 24 hrs to smash all night. It'll be nice to meet you too, i love seeing new faces at each of my events.

People are not going to be allowed to sleep inside of the venue, everyone should have a room pretty much so there is no reason to anyway, haha.omg...all day smashing for like 2 days straight, then day 3 hype (my blood boils with a thousand suns of HYPE RIGHT NOW)

It's really hard to say. I have a history of really underestimating (i expected 200 at pound 3 and got over 300 and expected 400 at p4 and got over 600) :o so id say like 500, and we will see what happens
I have a big announcement coming for *Pound* which is going to draw a LOT of extra people too and I am pretty excited about, but it'll be a few weeks before I am allowed to announce that.

then we continued convo etc but yeah thats right pound *****!!! so many people planning on coming who havent posted. i think out of like the 60 or so people who've registered 15-20 have posted in the thread. I have a feeling there are going to be a TON of lesser known players at this one, as well as the top players but really a LOT of casuals or less experienced players. I get a lot of random emails from people who dont have SWF accounts and there are constantly a ton of guests viewing this page, haha

Darkrain and SilentSpectre are instant hype... some of the greatest Pound 4 moments involved these two. Someone make sure they are in attendance for this! I'm looking at you pockyD, go buy Jeff's plane ticket like last time XD

i'm gonna be practicing a lot for this, i swear pound tournaments are the only ones that make me set goals for myself in terms of performance, every other tournament i just wanna play people and have a good time, but at pound...shts serious LOL

planks already talked about this extensively, yes the venue is 24 hours but no you cant sleep there. the venue itself is a hotel, get a room, and sleep there, dont sleep in the playing area, its for people who want to play all night
