And yes, teams gfs need to happen later on in the day for delay of time reasons (1 hour to complete, another hour to play all pools matches) - if you guys really object to this, thats fine, but there shoudl be plenty of time for teams friendlies later on in the night if there is a need for a warmup

Some cool things are that Pokemon stadium 2 and Norfair (*cough* No Fair *cough*) are taken out of the counter pick list . Definately coming to this and bringing a partner for doublez . Mikey I'll do my part and bring 2 Wii's for sure (sux that we can't use texture hacks, ancient ruins for battlefeild rox). Hopefully this will be a good night, a lot of good ppl show up, and I rank well in doubles and singles. WATCH OUT BOYS

It took me... 6 hours to get home. I walked for like an hour in the cold, and found a perfectly intact sub on the road, and ate it.

And wannabe gangster-kids-who-are-really-******* kept trying to hit me with some exploding bomb sh*t.

Wow Holy **** guys, that's intense. Unless I get a ride, I take the Go Bus, and if I take the Go Bus I research the times so that I can go home after. If this tourney takes 2 long, I'm gonna quit and go home cause I don't wanna miss the last bus.

Mikey assured me the tourney will be done by at least 9:30 so its all good.

People hype up the fish on japes too much, i think japes and picto are ok(says the falco main), but norfair brings planking AND air camping to a whole new level, and PS2 is just stupid.

Bro you got two options, meet brose at finch cause' minus and I are getting a ride so he'll have room, or take the go bus to hamilton QEW and i'll meet you at the stop and take you to the tournament.

I'll get you some bus directions, but I'm going to have to charge you 5 bucks for maintenance fees.

A) it is one of the only stages with huge celing and big sides

B) If you say falco is OP there, or spikes in general, then learn to QCDI(normal SDI if anything) the spike, stop being scrub

C) This stage has nothing random, the klamp trapz are timed, learn to be wary of your stage.

D) Stage control is an important issue which all players should learn, expected to happen on such a stage.

Mikey, there's a reason why that maplist is the way it is. It's because of montreal DI, swordgard is kind of a pioneer for it.

was able to DI out of fox shine against corneria wall in three SDI movements, and able to get out of my marth poke in corneria wall in one SDI movement.

I can understand not liking some of the map list, but japes is far from gay. It's no gayer than halberd's beam cannon / crane, no gayer than rainbow cruise's disappearing ledges and platforms, and no gayer than orpheon's flip-change. + high ceiling makes for a good counter vs MK, Snake and other upward killers.

Frankly, we didnt allow onett and corneria nor pokemon stadium 2 in the end, distant planet was allowed for doubles. Either way, you directly avoided my point, answer my arguments instead of coming with random answers.

We had reasons to believe some of these stages would be fine because even with their apparent problems(OMFG INFINTES WALL!?!?!?!? Blasphemy!!!), they had yet to be tried when you actually played on them well. Never pre-emptively exclude stages. We just lacked time to do extensive training so we finally opted for a conservative choice.
