Invisible (Kingdom Hearts)

Invisible KH.png

Invisibles are some of the most powerful enemies in Kingdom Hearts 1

They would slash with their sword and occasionally they would slam their sword into the ground and become a dark ring of fire that surrounds a player and slowly close in. once the ring closes in the player targeted would take big damage, The invisible would then go back to their sword. The Ring Of Fire can be rolled or jumped out of.
.....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE PTSD

Sheild Tribesman
Crash Bandicoot
This tribal villager has a large heavy sheild that it pulls out in front and above himself, this sheild will cause the player to take small damage and bounce back if they collide, the trick is to jump over the tribesman as it moves his sheild slowly so you can attack the unguarded area.
....is this racist? I know they don't straight up name drop a nationality here but this feels culturally insensitive somehow.

I didnt mean to be racist, the tribesmen are just an iconic part of the franchise and it would be fitting to include one

Job about Enemies:
Robobot Armor Pilots (Kirby)
Debut: Kirby Planet Robobot (2016)
They walk aimlessly and they attack the Player with Great Force in Armor. When the pilot is defeated, the mechs explode with 20% Damage.

Salmonoids (Splatoon)
Debut: Splatoon 2 (2017)
They Chase the Player and they swim in Water. They snatch into Player deling 5% damage.

Gruntling (Banjo-Kazooie)
Debut: Banjo-Kazooie (1998)
Gruntling acts like Goomba, doing Nothing but only Walikg back and Forth. He can attack you if you're close.

Triceratops (Crash Bandicoot)
Debut: Crash 2: Cortex Strikes Back (1997)

He could charge at player straighforward with Top Speed. He can slow Down when you start to attack it. It's Design is Based on Crash 4 design.

Those are nominations of Enemies, because they would be fun Enemies for the Game.

SNK & Fighting Game Spirits
Iori alts are now complete, which should conclude his associated content, meaning its time for his spirits! We were always going to do fighting game spirits for this fighter, although given the nature of KOF being a crossover, including all SNK spirits seems fitting as well. No limit on the number of spirits per person, but just know that Street Fighter, Tekken, Fatal Fury, and King of Fighters series spirits will be accepted at a higher rate than other non fighter series. Additionally, there are some regulations.

No KOF characters from spinoffs not made by SNK themselves (KOF For Girls, KOF All Star, etc.)
No Maximum Impact and The King of Fighters EX: Neoblood characters, due to being non-canon characters who have never appeared in a mainline game
No K9999, because infamous legal issues
Nooooooooo Pachinko
No fighting game spinoffs from non fighting game series, such as Pokken and Persona 4 Arena
No Smash Bruddas

I dont play fighting games so none to start it off from me, but Robotto will definitely be able to cover for me 😎💪👍.

I understand the concern, but I don't think the Papu Papu tribesmen are any more of a worry than Papu himself, who we already have as a spirit, or even Aku Aku and Uka Uka.
I dont think adding a single tribesmen as an enemy would cause anything to happen in universe, sure there may be some protests by some fringe political site but its going to be the minority, we seems it with Mario Odyssey and the Poncho controversy and nothing will effect it, also if this mode had a custom enemy toggle you could just remove it

Looks like I'm going to re-submit everything I did earlier in August, that time was done during a non-SNK prompt back then. People are open to make Top Hunter: Roddy & Cathy, Galaxy Fight and King of the Monsters for me, if they want to (they're obscure, yet awesome games).

Guess ADK properties such as World Heroes, Aggressors of Dark Kombat and Twinkle Star Sprites (Reimu works) counts as well.

I dont think adding a single tribesmen as an enemy would cause anything to happen in universe, sure there may be some protests by some fringe political site but its going to be the minority, we seems it with Mario Odyssey and the Poncho controversy and nothing will effect it, also if this mode had a custom enemy toggle you could just remove it
To air on the safe side of things, and in line with G&W's feather being removed, we will be vetoing this submission. You may submit a replacement.

Bat Swarm
Crash Bandicoot
Acting as recurring obstacles these enemies come in large swarms out of caves in the background. They fly in a straight line and attack by colliding with the player. They come in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal swarms the numbers of bats involved ranged from 5-15 bats.

Here is our list of submitted enemies!

We will be taking a look through these and decide which to include or not include. If we feel a submissions probably shouldn’t be included, we will notify the thread.
Job 211:

Enemy #1: Guldo
View attachment 337175

No, not that one...THIS one:
View attachment 337176
Guldo (Xenoblade Chronicles 2):

Enemies only found in the Land of Morytha, Guldos are undead-like beings that were the result of humans attempting to replace their brain cells with that of Core Crystals for immortality. In Smash, Guldos do one of the following:
  • Arm Swipe: Exactly what it says. Deals 9% damage and low knockback.
  • Elemental Absorb: Absorbs a major element of your chosen fighter, making its Arm Swipe attack deal equivalent damage to its victim. For example, if it uses Elemental Absorb on Inkling, its attacks will deal Ink damage, whose color is distinguished by being a midnight blue to match its skin.
  • Elemental Beam: Can only be used after using Elemental Absorb. Guldos will fire a burst of elemental energy from its bigger arm, dealing normally 10% for most, but dealing lesser if the element is of a more complex variety like Inkling's Ink or Joker's Curse effect.
  • Elemental Bomb: An attack that damages itself, but is equivalent of a Bomber Item. Normally deals 24% damage and high knockback, but will deal less for more complex elements.

Enemy #2:
View attachment 337178
Nebula (Xenoblade Chronicles):

A living cloud of ether, Nebulae are gaseous enemies with high damage resistance. They have 20 HP, but they take 0.2x damage. Nebulae can attack by floating into a player for 8% damage, or if push comes to shove, they will self-destruct for 30% damage.

Nebulae also come in the following elements, which affects their self-destruct attack:
  • Water: Blue nebulae that deal Water damage. Self-destruct puts players to sleep for a short time.
  • Ice: Cyan nebulae that freeze on hit. Self-destruct slows down movement speed.
  • Wind: Green nebulae that have windboxes on hit. Self-destruct deals higher knockback.
  • Earth: Orange nebulae that buries players on hit. Self-destruct meteor smashes.
  • Fire: Red Nebulae that deal Fire damage. Self-destruct bypasses all shields.
  • Lightning: Yellow nebulae that deal Electrical damage. Self-destruct inflicts a powerful paralysis effect.

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot!

Enemy 3:
View attachment 337196
Lab Assistant (Crash Bandicoot):

Mainstay enemies in the franchise, Lab Assistants will stand around carrying two beakers of chemicals, which it will through at nearby fighters for 14% explosive damage and high knockback. They have very little health. Defeat them in combat, and their bodies will hone in on the nearest enemy for 6% damage, just like in Crash 4, complete with the cartoony "POW!" noise from the game when you beat them!
View attachment 337179
Pikmin
Gatling Groink
These Pikmin 2 enemies are completely immune to frontal attacks, meaning you have to attack the backsides to defeat it, they attack by shooting multiple explosive pellets, some also attack from the background by raining down more explosive pellots.

These Mega Man X enemies ride in giant suits of armor that gives them the abilty to dash very fast with rocket feet and do a slow rocket jump, there are three colors with a different weapon. Red ones attack by punching, blue ones attack by shooting with plasma guns on their hands, and yellow ones have a beam sword and can fly.

Mr Frosty
Kirby
Mr Frosty bounds back and forth before pulling a block of ice and pushing it toward the player. Smooth ice cubes simply push the player, but spiked ice cubes explode causing a freezing effect. They also tend to charge toward in a rush attack.

View attachment 337182
Sheild Tribesman
Crash Bandicoot
This tribal villager has a large heavy sheild that it pulls out in front and above himself, this sheild will cause the player to take small damage and bounce back if they collide, the trick is to jump over the tribesman as it moves his sheild slowly so you can attack the unguarded area.
Kirby Enemy 1: Poppy Bros Jr.

It just hops in place, slightly moving to the side. Oh, and it throws bombs which explode into a firework explosion. A fairly simple and even kinda weak enemy, but it can be dangerous if you're not careful.

Kirby Enemy 2: Sir Kibble

Another simple enemy, it just stays in place and throws its cutter.
View attachment 337183
Orne(Kid Icarus)
I submitted this enemy a while back when i additioned the Egg Pawn, so why not resubmit it again, This enemy's presence can be noted from an eerie 8-bit tune when it notices you it rows with skulls coming out from it's mouth chasing you at a fast pace, one hit is an insta-kill.

View attachment 337184
Sniper Joe(Mega Man)
This Classic Mega Man Enemy keeps itself protected with his shield while also firing pallets at opponents leaving 5% damage, when he lowers his shield down take advantage of it and put this green suited robot out of commission.

View attachment 337185
Napper(Banjo Kazooie)
The Napper, a ghost who was entrusted by Gruntilda to keep a jiggy. this huge green ghoul will be in one place, he will have a treasure chest inside his stomach to keep safe of, he can't be hurt by physical attacks so projectiles and melee weapons could only do him good(With Banjo & Kazooie you could use the wonderwing to insta-kill him).

Napper sleeps most of the time, though attack him will cause napper to attempt at lunging the player dealing with 30% damage to the player, when he is KO'D he vanishes away.

View attachment 337187
Bronto Burt(Kirby)
Bronto Burt usually flies away when you get close to it, but when it attacks it'll ram towards opponents leaving them with 10% damage.

View attachment 337188
Large Body(Kingdom Hearts)
This Big Heartless Enemy will charge first with it's Belly dealing 10% damage, you can attack it from behind though be wary it'll unleash a shockwave from jumping.

View attachment 337189
Reaper & Reapette(Kid Icarus)
A Tall Reaper roams around the area holding onto it's entrusted Scythe, When it spots opponents it starts to freak out this changes the music into a silly 8-bit track. The Reaper summons tiny little versions of itself floating around the area and chasing opponents they deal less damage though, But if you get closer to the reaper to attack it the reaper will slash it's scythe sending players far off off the screen while leaving 40% damage.

View attachment 337190
HUM-C-84DF5-00(Astral Chain)
This Chimera of the Astral Plane will strike with it's sword like arm dealing15% damage towards the player and shield itself to counter players attacking, at points it'll charge towards the player which can be countered(Only works for a 5% chance).
NeoShadow (Kingdom Hearts series)
View attachment 337198

Neoshadow Heartless will wander around in groups of three to five, and tend to attack one after another, being highly aggressive. They can sink into the floor, becoming invulnerable temporarily, jump high and perform spin attacks in the air, attack fighters with their dark claws after charging at fighters, and even grab fighters' legs while sunk into the ground (still invulnerable). If not defeated quickly, they'll summon more of their own ranks to swarm the player!

Octosniper (Splatoon series)

View attachment 337199

Octosnipers will be stationary enemies, but they are difficult to sneak up on and occassionally come equipped with large shields to cover their vulnerability from the front. A large red sniper beam will illuminate where they aim, and they will auto-seek to players they've spotted in their sights (though they cannot see through walls, floors, or ceilings). They only have a single attack: A long-distance ink snipe, but it does considerable damage and coats the fighter in ink, making them take additional damage and knockback, exactly as Inkling/Octoling's ink works!

Grace & Glory (Bayonetta series)
View attachment 337200

Grace and Glory always appear as a duo, so if you spot one, the other won't be far behind! Grace (crimson fire) and Glory (blue lightning) have nearly identical movesets, but Grace's moves are slower and wider than Glory's. They can extend their claws to attack fighters from longer distances, and if one of them is at low health, it will fall back and prepare its unique attack. Grace's unique attack is a slow flaming tornado spin, which can be easily dodged. In Glory's unique attack, it sends an electrical charge in a small circular area around itself that can be dodged or jumped over.

Swooping Snitchbug (Pikmin series)
View attachment 337201

Snooping Snitchbugs are fairly east to dispatch, but are quite irritating, as they fly around, nabbing players and attempting to drop them into a pit (they'll hold on longer if the lighter the fighter, but you can mash out), or even more annoying, will swipe your items/powerups, and fly away with them, never to be seen again. Darn!
Tentakook (Splatoon)

The Tentakook would run away from the player dropping splat bombs in its wake.

Gunvolt (Mega Man X)

Gunvolt's would stand still and either shoot 2 missiles at a player or send a wave of sparks at a player

Malboro (Final Fantasy)

The Malboro would bite the player and use Bad Breath which gives the player every negative status effect

Bratgirl (Mind Over Mutant)

Bratgirls would pull out a megaphone that they would scream into that stuns nearby players

Darkstalkers Spirit for KoF spirit Board, eh? (I used Nun Felicia due to the Fact, where Felicia has Exposed outfit and we don't wanna Smash Infinite to become 18+ Game, so we made Nun Felicia Artwork as her spirit artwork)

Mega Man Alt: Napalm Bomb (Navy)

Recurring color scheme of Mega Man Powerups, and has a Funko Pop variant based on it.

Mega Man and Bass
Lightning Bolt
Yellow and Black

The most visually striking alt in my opnion, the yellow and black really contrast each other, plus some representation from And Bass.

Mega Man Alts
We had a lot of good submissions, since mega man has a ton of cool canon colors, but sadly only 4 can get in. First of all Commander_Alph Commander_Alph 's Plug Ball skin was switched to Quick Boomerang, due to being the same idea as a pink alt, but being from the more iconic mega man 2. GolisoPower GolisoPower 's Double Gear alt was passed over due to not being a canon skin as well as being a bit cluttered as shown by this mockup I found. cashregister9 cashregister9 's Acid Barrier alt was passed in favor of the Napalm Bomb skin due to being a truer purple alt, as well as a more iconic powerup. Finally Glubbfubb Glubbfubb 's Lightning Bolt alt was passed up since black and yellow is a color scheme already shared by one of Mega Man's current alts, despite it being a very cool idea.

Wii Fit Trainer Alts
Female & Male Purple (Purple) cashregister9 cashregister9

inspired by the wii fit pet
Female & Male Orange (Orange) GolisoPower GolisoPower

Inspired by the Ring Fit Trainers
These were chosen over the others as they have some of the best direct references, and Purple and Orange are the remaining secondary colors not currently covered by Wii Fit Trainer's current alts, which consist of Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. Additionally, since the Female and Male Trainer have a matching set of alts, essentially only two need to be accepted, so apologies if this was in the initial job posting.

Villager will come at some point, but in the meanwhile, onto the next batch....

Rosalina, Little Mac, & Greninja Alts
There are still lots of alts to cover, so we will be jumping into the next three! The usual process applies for these three, and they will not be eligible for new alternate costumes. Little Mac will be getting 4 more skins for his regular appearance, so no additional hoodie or wireframe alts. Finally, as Luma stays the same for each skin, there's no need to submit details about Luma's appearance for your submission.

I'll Start us off with one:

Shiny Greninja

Although Greninja does currently have a black alt, it is significantly different than his shiny. Depending on how many serviceable Greninja alts we receive, this may replace his current black alt.

Little Mac would have blue shorts, yellow hair, and not have a shirt, however if that dosnt count he will wear a white tank top.

Purple and Light Blue
Aurora Rosalina
Based off a popular Mario Kart Tour skin, this alternate color will be predominantly purple with light blue trimmings to reference the skin, that means it counts as an alternate color.

Rosalina & Luma:
1636519468652.png

Galaxy Blue:
Since Rosalina comes from Super Mario Galaxy, it would make sense for there to be an alt based on the deep blue cosmos that you travel through in the game. It'll share the same yellow star-prints as her black alt, jus to give it that "Yen Sid hat" kind of feel to it.

Little Mac:
1636519311802.png

Mr. Sandman (White & Yellow):
A recurring character in the Punch-Out!! series. To distinguish itself from the yellow Little Mac alt from before, this will put Mac in a White and Yellow top and shorts with bright yellow gloves. Furthermore, his skin will also have a bronze twinge to it.

Greninja:
1636519598521.png

Inteleon (Cyan):
Another stealth-based Water-type starter, Greninja gains an alternate costume based on the Water-type starter of the Galar Region. This skin will be predominantly Cyan with a electric yellow webbing and ears, in addition to a darker blue tongue and black "X" patterns on its legs.

Rosalina (Red & Pink)

Hanafuda Colors

Her hair becomes pink while her clothes become more saturated yet darker with some extra red highlights.

Little Mac (Gray)

Little Mac gains a tan, Gray Hair and his gloves become red while his clothes become a blue and gold

This is a reference to Super Macho Man

Greninja (Green and Yellow)

Greninja would gain the colors of his Hero Holowear from Pokemon Unite

It's hands and feet become white while the rest of the body is lime green with white and yellow highlights.

Rosalina and Luma

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Cyan)

A more lighter color scheme of her usual dress where it could reference either Rosalina in the cover of the Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack or her younger self and matches with Daisy's and Peach's all white costume with the dress slowly fading from white to blue at the bottom.

Little Mac
1636522970245.png

Narcis Prince (Red)

Based on the color of Narcis Prince from Super Punch-Out!! where his clothes turn red, gloves turn blue and shorts turn lime or yellow.

Greninja
1636523598246.png

Kabutop (Brown)
Just filling in a niche color.

Sorry for the double post but I want to point this out, I think Little Mac's current recolor already references the guy from Super Punch-Out!! albeit with a shirt on.
But do as you will, I guess.

Greninja: Magikarp

Makes Greninja orange. His "muzzle" and ears are pink, his elbow pads and mid-toes are white, his thingy between the ears (dunno what you'd call it) and tongue are golden, his eyes are black, and his belly is an orange that blends into his full body.

Greninja - Greninja BREAK.
1636544221767.png

This alternate color would reference Greninja BREAK, a card that was extremely prominent in the XY era of the TCG. Except for it's eyes, literally every part of it's body becomes golden. Even it's water weapons become golden.

I see all these submissions and I fail to see this one. Makes me sad…

Golden Poison Frog
Gives Greninja a nice golden sheen for the skin with a lighter cream yellow for the belly. While not technically correct, Greninja would gain a cyan colored tongue. It’s eyes are black with yellow pupils, the stars and head flap are white, and the bubbles on its body are black. The webbing between its feet are also black.

So while this is teeeeechnically an alternate costume, it’s acts as an alternate color as it changes Rosalina’s colorqtion rather than giving her an entirely new set of clothes

Cosmic Spirit

This gives Rosalina the same appearance as the Cosmic Spirit which posted above. This would be placed in the Navy color or perhaps Cobalt or Dark Cyan color category. I’ll be perfect honest, when Rosalina was confirmed for the game, I thought we would get this Alt color

Rosalina Alt: Daisy (Orange)

Rosalina currenty has a pink alt based on Peach, but lacks a matching Daisy alt, or any Orange alt for that matter. Her Dress would turn Orange, with her trims becoming a darker orange. Can also serve as a reference to the co star luma which is orange.

Little Mac Alt: Major Circuit Punch Out Wii (Blue)

Returns from Smash 4 and would be identical.

Rosalina Alt.
Pauline (Rose color)

Rosalina would have Rose Dress, Brown Hair and her wand becomes Gray. The luma is white-gray to resemble Cappy.
It could represent Pauline from Super Mario series.

Greninja Alt.
Toxicroak (Light Blue)

Greninja has Light Blue body. His tongue is Red and his belly would be colored like his body. He could have Black stripes appearing on his body like Toxicroak has.
It could represent Gen 4 Pokemon, Toxicroak.

Little Mac Alt.
Urban Champion (Baby Blue)

Little Mac would have Baby blue Tank, Green Shorts and Orange shoes. Also his hair becomes Baby Blue. It could allude to Oldest Nintendo's Fighting Game, URBAN CHAMPION!
It could represent Urban Champion NES Game as Alternate Palette.

Whew... took quite a while to compile all of this. These will be the final cameos for these two stages for the foreseeable future. As a result of this status, we decided to go into detail about what each cameo would do and why we chose them. There are also some characters that have been added by the Leadership Team for varying circumstances that will be explained later.

We have a good addition of characters, with important characters like the protagonists of each saga and their rivals, as well as some fun side characters like the American Sports Team. In total, that's 39 individual characters, the same amount of characters that KOF XV will be releasing with! Thanks to Mr. Robotto Mr. Robotto for some of the help in capturing some poses. Most characters will have two poses, a KO pose after a player loses a stock, and a continuous pose that will play as part of their idle animation.

You may notice that some characters have been added without submissions, and some previously added characters were removed. Characters such as Benimaru were added because they were glaring omissions from the base Ultimate version of KOF Stadium. Characters like Heavy-D! and Vanessa were added to complement submitted characters that would be strange to have on their own. We have reached the conclusion that it would be impossible to have Mai as a cameo on the stage without sacrificing accuracy to her character. She can be a spirit though. Alice was also removed for similar reasons, with the additional penalty of being a Pachinko character and SNK doesn't want to do those anymore. Orochi wasn't included because he's a literal god and has better things to do (destruction of humanity for making NFTs) than to watch Pikachu beat up Leon Kennedy.

In total, Garreg Mach Monastery will have 17 cameos, 4 for each area and Gatekeeper being a little bonus. Certain characters were prioritized over others - Hubert was prioritized over Bernadetta due to being one of the most important students in the game, as well as being the only missing retainer from Ultimate. As Seteth is an Assist Trophy, we elected to remove his cameo from the stage. While there are many characters without an alignment that would fit into Seteth's spot, we ultimately decided to go with Shamir, as she is the only character who was submitted that wasn't a part of any house. Because Shamir is our choice, she will be joined by her wife Catherine as I don't ever see the two of them separate in a circumstance like this. Other characters that would work here include Jeralt, Cyril, Alois, Hanneman, and Manuela. Of these, Jeralt & Alois and Hanneman & Manuela could be paired together, but again, Shamir has the advantage of being submitted.

Each of the characters will have some actions, like on KOF Stadium, but I don't remember any of them so pretend that all of the ones that were suggested got accepted. This includes the awesome idea of having Yuri and Balthus making bets and stuff. Gambling, in Smash!

Here is our list of submitted enemies!

We will be taking a look through these and decide which to include or not include. If we feel a submissions probably shouldn’t be included, we will notify the thread.

Also, where is my Boi Orochi?

Wow I forgot this thread existed for a bit. Guess I just got busy.
That being said holy crap I’m so glad Anna is a newcomer, this is the closest I will ever get to playable Morshu and I will gladly take it!! As for the final roster, it’s not ideal but I don’t think it would have been even if we tried to make it such.
Looking forward to DLC!
