You mean the quarter/half stick edgehog? Just roll your control stick away from the stage, then do a kinda circle back toward the ledge. It takes a few tries but it's super fun to do lol and useful

In the video against Eazy's Shiek, at around 0:50 I swear to god that was a waveland. I also noticed Kadaj and NEO doing it, too. It's usually after a nair.

i do it a lot, it's mostly just landing close to the edge then quickly snapping onto the ledge. it's pretty simple but looks kinda sexy. may take some practice in training mode to be fluent with it.

The "waveland" can be performed on slopes. If you look closely, yoshi's island has a slope at each edge.
