If I were to run a tournament it would be Brawl Minus. So Unity wouldn't matter at all.

Funfact: I could run one with my ruleset (once is fully revised) because people here don't mind as long as the tournament is done.
So I'm kind of serious about it.

I was messing with Ganondorf's and Bowser's Suicidal moves.
Damage does not matter.
If their port is lower, Bowser ALWAYS wins and Ganon ALWAYS draws.
If it is higher, Bowser ALWAYS draws and Ganon ALWAYS loses.

So... I'll edit the SD rule later.

I thought long and hard on PS1 over halberd, but Ps1 falls into the grounded stages list IMO, and it already has SV and BF for grounded characters, and LC/Delphino for aerial characters. I strongly feel halberd is quite balanced in the end (doesn't favor any type of character specifically), and I wanted it to have a few of each, with 3 middle ground stages. (halberd, PS2, and CS)

Yoshi's is clearly a grounded character stage, the top platform is designed to camp under lol.

Delfino, because Halberd has far more "counterpick-esque" qualities (mostly the low ceiling).

You guys obviously aren't playing gay enough with MK on Delfino. Any time when you can't shark, you can probably camp in some really good spot behind a wall, by a walkoff or on a secluded platform. Only the Beach and the Pier and the staircase is bad for himr eally.

The aerial-ground spectrum is a gross oversimplification imo.

Against Diddy, FD/BF/SV/PS1 will be struck.
Against ICs, FD/BF/SV/YI will be struck.
Against Falco, FD/BF/SV/PS1 will be struck.

None of those three characters would choose Delfino or Halberd over the other options.

"Aerial" characters (MK/GaW/Wario) would get that stage slot struck against them anyways, whether it's Delfino or Halberd.

Aerial/Ground balance is kind of.....overrated imo. Its not like the game is half aerial characters and half ground characters. What about matchups like olimar vs snake. GnW vs Pit?

I felt like Angled Camera made characters live a little longer, but I couldn't tell if that's true, also I don't know what would be wrong with Fixed Camera Mode.

I like Fixed Camera mode. Unfortunately some people find it a bit disorienting.

How does Fixed camera work with RC, since technically, the stage only moves once (the boat collapsing), but the camera moves around the stage?

Checked, no obvious difference. (aside from general fixed camera stuff)

With RC, the stage doesn't move. The pieces fade in and out and move across the screen to give the illusion of movement.

i think peach's parasol actually falls slower than the stage does on the rising portion
either on this stage or on rumble falls
