It's only because the majority of the BR don't have the balls to use anyone but him and wouldn't want to see their precious Metaknight banned.
It's actually pathetic.

Sure, I agree he shouldn't be banned (right now, he will NEED banning though because he will continue to dominate at a higher level and more frequently as more pros are flocking to him as if he's giving out free blowjobs or something) but they don't need to cover stuff up and make it a whole conspiracy theory deal. The fact is that he can still be beaten.by other MK's.

Who cares who they main? SBR is useless and outdated now. It's like a post-Cold War Russian Yacht Club, seriously. I remember once upon a time, they actually talked to large tournament organizers, were knowledgeable, and helpful. Now they're just... not. You have a few good posters, then a buncha people that have no clue what they're talking about, and then you have the people that paid for BR access.

Their rulesets are sub-par, their tier list leaves a sour taste in my mouth, and their complacence does nothing but hold back the community. People need to stop suckling on SBR's ****, and start thinking for themselves. Much like Gimpy, they were waaaaay cooler before Brawl came out.

EDIT: The reason they're back there is as much a mystery to me as it is anyone else.

No, I know not everyone back there mains him. Few moderators do, because they are not often 'top players.'
It's the top players that are admitted into the BR for one reason or another. And who will these top players be using mostly? Why Metaknight of course, because otherwise you can't gain recognition and don't stand a lot of a chance of winning big name tournaments.
So basically if it's down the the BR to ban MK, a lot of the panel are going to be top-class MK players.
And you can't refute that, tournament results show this clearly enough (if you want the most recent example, HOBO 11)

Yeah, but thanks to Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic will be the new MK of SSB4 anyway. But for now, we just have to watch as all the good players catch the Metaknight Plague.

well guys good news and bad news

I took first again (out of 14) using sonic all the way, with the tag 'Steak' and got finals vids in high quality...

bad news, theres normally 7 or so good players who turn up to these tourneys who make for really interesting matches in the finals, i was the only one who bothered to turn up to this tourney. So while it may have been a victory for steak, I was only against people well below my level who dont tier-wh0re so I dont think i leanred much, if anything this time round. Also i was playing like shit, scrubtacular in the finals vids (still enough to win lol)

I didn't use MK once in the brackets at Hobo. I went all GW and IC's.

Also, I like how people talk about the backroom like they know what we talk about back there.
