Some disturbed person affected people here in a bad way and it caused a riot. The staff are still looking into what to do better in the future, so this is just a temporary thread until they do.

Y'know what, I'm actually really excited for the Sonic movie
the more i think about it the more i realise that I'm gonna love it even if it sucks

There's honestly no great way to answer this. There are way too many factors to consider.

- The two games in the Archanea saga tell a complete story already...two of them, in fact.

- A lot of important characters in the saga wouldn't be as important due to dying or retiring after Mystery of the Emblem (Hardin and Minerva, for example, are incredibly important but either die or retire to work as a cleric, respectively). But they're also some of the most popular and important characters from the games.

- Certain characters who may have been completely unimportant may have become major characters in future games. Jeorge and Xane were nobodies in Shadow Dragon but became major characters in Mystery. And then there are characters like Cain who were filler characters in the original games but became exponentially more important in the remakes.

- Some characters from Marth's games rely on non-Marth games existing. Palla, Catria, Est, and ESPECIALLY Camus are heavily defined by what happened in Gaiden/Shadows of Valentia, and they'd be completely different characters if those games were removed. Awakening not existing would also impact Tiki, as well as Shadows of Valentia had you decided to count it due to the post game.

Marth, Caeda, and Tiki would be locks, and you could make cases for Jagen, Merric, Navarre, Nyna, and Linde, but characters like Ogma, Hardin, Minerva, any of the Whitewings, Camus, Medeus, Gharnef...their fates would be far less certain because the situation you're describing is literally impossible to forecast.

I always figured they were scrapped for the same reason as Ice Climbers.

Auditioned for Ray and a few other supporting character for a fandub of the manga, so hopefully I get cast. Was gonna audition for Norman but he was already cast.

Looks like the 3.1.0 pop-up doesn't expire until June 16th. Which means it's possible that whatever's revealed won't be available until July or August.

August is what i'm leaning more towards to TBH (more specifically, early-August). If Fighter Pack #2 dropped along with Home-Run Contest on that day.

nah actually it's easy to search on google (images) just type someone's username +smashboards and you can see some of their old avatars in the results that havent been cleaned from old data or whatever.

update messages never overrun into following updates, but they do end around the time of the next update.

because the 3.1.0 message ends on the 17th, i think we're looking at a reveal at e3 for an update on tuesday 18th, exactly one week after the e3 presentation.

the wild alternative is that erdrick is revealed in a youtube video and drops with 3.1.0 tonight, since the update seems pretty featured and '<x> is now avaliable' messages never show on SSBU bot (probably hidden/not uploaded to the server full stop)

them bumping the game up to 2.0.0 purely for piranha plant makes me doubt they wouldn't do the same here, however
