Man, I'm just stuck on the legs.

TBH I just believe that Fighter's Pack 2 will be launched in August with HRC and Fighter Pack 3 in October/November with Boss Battles.

The pop-up kinda supports that idea but I guess we'll wait and see.

Looks like the 3.1.0 pop-up doesn't expire until June 16th. Which means it's possible that whatever's revealed won't be available until July or August.

August is what i'm leaning more towards to TBH (more specifically, early-August). If Fighter Pack #2 dropped along with Home-Run Contest on that day.

I wouldn't rule out anything just yet. as it could just be the next few updates will not have any balance changes/will strictly just add characters/new features.

Honestly think it aligns perfectly with what Sakurai said in the book about believing that all characters are fairly balanced if their win rates are all more or less even.

the wild alternative is that erdrick is revealed in a youtube video and drops with 3.1.0 tonight, since the update seems pretty featured and '<x> is now avaliable' messages never show on SSBU bot (probably hidden/not uploaded to the server full stop)

them bumping the game up to 2.0.0 purely for piranha plant makes me doubt they wouldn't do the same here, however

Yeah. I doubt Erdrick will launch before E3.

My bets are still on Erdrick and Banjo at E3, Banjo is just a reveal, but Erdrick fully drops.

Since their apparently doing the VR thing as well due to datamines. Do you think they will do the hidden update as well that includes Switch overclocking for the loading screens like Nintendo apparently did for Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey?

The Wii U was just trademarked as Wii U. With the 3DS, it's specifically the Nintendo 3DS, presumably because just 3DS is too generic to trademark.

How is this gonna work?

So I have a theory.

I don't think this can possibly work in first-person, but the Street Fighter IV port to 3DS had a "3D fighting" mode where they shifted the perspective to over the fighter's shoulder so you could see in front of you and fight like that. It took advantage of the added depth perception to make this possible.

Perhaps Smash in VR would do something similar?

Just about every DC character is too BS, ya know.

I mean. Yeah. That just means there Story has to be about something other than “how strong I need to be to beat the bad guy”. It’s the fundamental difference between Goku and Superman they talked about in those two episodes. I still like Hal, Green Lantern is one of my favorite comic characters of all time. They just break vs matches like these in two.
