If that is the case then there's a few options.

F5 is Arle Or Dante( Or Phoenix Wright which is unlikely but I'd be hyped)

One of them is a post pass character and the other five

One or both of them are Mii Costumes. (What a twist it would be if they both are)

One is a Costume and the other fighter five

and lastly, maybe the three question marks actually mean something and there's 3 character reveals. Arle, Dante, and I'll throw Geno here because why not. Which would actually kinda of work. There's been all kinds of back and forth for Dante and Arle that points at either one of them if not both coming. Geno could be a free character ala plant. My bet would be you get Geno for Free if you either are subbed to NSO or you pre order the second pass if it happens.

Out of these I honestly feel Option two has a good shot, but the likeliest is option 4 imo. If its the last option though then man the hype would be wild. Either I can't wait to see what happens, and am pretty excited.

My favourite memory had to be K. Rool, Ridley and Banjo-Kazooie getting into Smash.^-^

Say a developer does have a character in Smash and they're asked... what do you really expect them to say?


Yes is off the table and "No comment" is shady as hell, the only real answers are "No" or "You'll have to ask them."

The thing about character 5 that's interesting is I think this is the first time that Sakurai's ever flat out asked if "We can guess who it is?"


Of course we won't know for sure until after the Direct, but it really does feel, at least right now, that he 'may' have dropped breadcrumbs.
