Like, now that we know the news today was exclusively for DMC3, is there really any reason to convince oneself it's Dante?

I got rekt but the incredible difficulty spike in Puyo Puyo 2 on Gameboy. That's my experience with the series.

Not really. We have Fighting game characters, RPG characters, metroidvania characters, character action game characters, action puzzle platform games? (whatever Mario, Sonic and Zelda are) and one stealth game. I understand that list is pretty vast, but it's still strictly about violent video games with melee combat of some sort.

You ignore she started as an RPG character, which actually has some surprisingly dark game overs.

I have no idea such a game exists. You just said Puyo Puyo, which from my understanding is a simplified two person Tetris.

Puyo Puyo is a spin off from an RPG.

Puyo is to Arles series as Persona is to SMT.

A spinoff that overshadowed the main series.

By all accounts, Puyo Puyo is a spin off series, it just outgrew what it spun off from.

It's more than alright to be disappointed by something, but regardless of who you want or what you're expecting, DO NOT throw a temper tantrum if you get something you don't want. The fandom's reputation is as fractured enough as is.
