Byleth could be interesting; I would have preferred one of the house leaders, since Byleth looks like Marth and is noted in-universe as being emotionless to the point of being creepy, but at least they're giving him more than the whip sword.

Still, it's weird that Rex was considered too new, and yet Byleth (whose game came out afterwards) is okay.
