When I do practice CGs, I'm not quite sure if I'm buffering them until I'm playing a mashing opponent. What do I do...?

Practice on platforms!!! You have to buffer the dthrow at least otherwise nana falls through the platform. If you buffer bthrow-dthrow on smashvilles plat you shouldn't have to move much to grab them again so that's what I practiced. Pretty much as soon as you press Z from your bthrow you flick the control stick down for the dthrow. Timing the bthrow buffer is harder but eventually when you get the hang of it you will notice when you are messing it up.

You actually can't buffer the bthrow on the list of characters I posted in the CG guide thread because of the required shield buffering. If you did, you wouldn't be able to regrab. There will ALWAYS be frames to mash out on those characters. Whether or not it's physically possible to mash out under ideal conditions is another story that I haven't taken the time to do math on.

TLDR - you must likely aren't buffering the bthrow on bthrow dthrow.

oh, oh, i know. how can i use ftilt effectively? i hate wasting my fsmash to cover horizontal range. it just fees like ftilt doesn't come out fast enough/have enough range/have neough kockback to be as effective. i know it'll save my kill move, but it just feels so weak by comparison.

Dtilt > Ftilt in almost any situation unless your opponent is at a straight 45 degree angle. Still how much do you even think to angle Ftilt up?

UTilt and Dtilt really are the ones that need more use.

i love utilt. its sooo good when you can predict people. i can see dtilt being good, but the people i play seem to short hop a lot... i guess its more abotu reading and punishing. thanks. i figured ftilt wasn't the best option i could make, but i knew fsmash was a bad one.

Ftilt comes out 1 frame slower and has 1 more frame of cooldown than Dtilt. So technically, Dtilt is better. Ftilts only saving point is that it can hit at a 45 degree angle, I wouldn't use it otherwise. =/

Probably Because they're focusing more on their grabs than their tilts. Once you get out of autopilot mode, you'd be surprised what you can obtain in this game.

who am i to say this. I can beat X, with no sonic experience. :3

fyi- i'm probably going to sell my wii, good thing is it's to me madre.

I've been playing MTG * Magic the Gathering* competitively.

Reach got too boring/facile, but it's fun when cheese and his NY buddies are with me.

Going to tell all of you to have an awesome Holiday month. considering this will probably be the last time i post this year :p
