Absolutely, you can, but please adhere to the guidelines that I've laid out in SmashWiki:Smasher Project as best you can. It'll save a lot of cleanup later when I go through them all.PS: should we try to be making Wiki pages for ourself if we haven't really gone competitive yet?
We're not gonna have one. They already made it.Wow!
You guys are gonna have a Smash-wiki?
That sounds great! ^_^
And also, I love the podcast idea!! I enjoy listening to podcasts (my favorite, of course, is the Pokemon-related, Bulbacast).
So, I was wondering, for your Smash podcast, will you be taking callins? You know, so people who have Skype and a microphone can call in to ask questions (or you can call them, since you'll be hosting the conference)?
I'm just curious, because I LOVE participating in podcasts.
That might be a little too AmericanNext time I'm going to make sure to say "y'all" a lot.
Scav, if you've read any blog out on the series of tubes I'm sure you've seen the many book marking sites that accompany it.Awesome! thanks for the help, F8X. Digg is strange and mysterious to me, but I've been using it more and more lately.
Edit: Is there a comparable thing we can do for Reddit? I like them more, myself.
Just replace the "um"s with "like"s and you'll sound ten times as american as before.Next time I'm going to make sure to say "y'all" a lot.
I think you misunderstand how the digg Podcasting feature works. I have the ability to search through all of the podcasts submitted. The podcasts themselves stay on the digg page as long as there is an RSS feed to back them up (which for conversations sake lets just say forever ). Digg also allows me to search by group and as you can tell from the picture from my previous post our podcast clearly is in the Games & Hobbies section. Smashboards could be on the front page of digg’s podcasting section for a very long time, providing the podcast with not just a single bump in usage, but rather a constant support from new and current viewers, posters, readers, and members of both digg and the boards.Well, getting onto the front page of Digg just once generates a massive amount of traffic. My goal is to start focusing on that when we actually have brawl news to draw people in.
Just take the one from the Smashwiki and put Smash Podcast on it.And the podcast could use a logo. * looks at the Artwork Emporium *
We don't need to be that lazy . I was thinking we could use the circle logo/shield thingy wearing a headset.Just take the one from the Smashwiki and put Smash Podcast on it.
I have a feeling I'd be perfect for that position. How might I establish some credibility in the area?We should clean up the writing one the Wiki. It's fine to speak informally on the boards, but the Wiki should have more formal language.
edit: Someone should be put in charge of editing the writing. I know people are editing the Wiki's content , but the presentation is also important.
