Is Jack Frost from Shin Megami Tensei eligible? Also, Monokuma is the antagonist, so I don't completely get why he was rejected.

While I’d like to nominate Monokuma, mascots are inelegible. I assume Jack Frost would also be inelegible since he’s a mascot.

Nemesis (Resident Evil)

Perfect for spooky season. Resident Evil is absolutely big enough to get a rep but we already have a lot of military people in our roster. So why not add this big scary zombie man? He actually has a lot to work with with his rocket launcher and his tentacles.

Yeah, mascots won’t be eligible for this job. This is my bad since the original prompt Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario submitted said to submit a side character before a MC or mascot, and then I completely forgot about the “mascot” part when I copied it here. So sorry about that, and yeah mascots aren’t eligible and I don’t think monokuma would be since he is clearly intended to be the face of the series

Anyways the way I see it I still do think my submission of solaire would be eligible since I don’t think he was never really intended to be the iconic “face of the game” that fans often make him out to be and doesn’t really have the status officially

I almost nominated Albert Wesker but someone posted Nemesis, who's probably an even cooler option. But still, here's something.
yoshimitsu-tekken-3.png

Yoshimitsu is a character who's in both Tekken and Soul Calibur, sort of. In that sense, he can rep two series at once, while also fulfilling the "not the main character" sort of thing for this job. As far as sword-fighters go, he's pretty unique, hopping around on it like a pogo stick, stabbing himself to hurt others, spinning it like a windmill, and even changing stances for further trickery. He also supplements his sword attacks with gas attacks and bionic limbs, as well. With multiple appearances in two separate fighting game series, he'll definitely have a lot to work with, and his alts. can also reference both.

Igor (Persona)

Igor is only characters to appear in every persona game, he is in charge of persona management and the leader of the velvet room. He also has several attendants and servants who help him with persona fusion and management

Igor would be a good choice as he can represent all persona games and even Shin Megami Tensei if his moveset includes personas.

Job about Side Characters:
Wolf O'Donnell (Star Fox)

Wolf O'Donnell is character from Star Fox and he could be Representing Star Fox. Plus, he is Side Character from series and Fox's Rival in Games. He could have similar moves to Fox, but Different and styled after Wolfen.

I nominate him, because he could make Star Fox playable game, I said earlier that Wolf is Side Character and little Villain of SF series and it won't violate the rules, since Fox and Wolf sometimes partner themselves to fight othe Evil Forces of Lylat that Andross' Army.

Here are the options for Job #138. Please vote for your top three most wanted in order. You can only put your own submission in second or third place.
Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario UmJammer Lammy
Pupp135 Pupp135 Pink Knight
Champion of Hyrule Champion of Hyrule Solaire
@Darkonedagger Nemesis
AlRex AlRex Yoshimitsu
cashregister9 cashregister9 Igor
Tankman from Newgrounds Tankman from Newgrounds Wolf

Mt votes:
1. Igor (I’ve never thought about it before but now that I do, I love the idea of adding igor as a playable character)
2. Yoshimitsu (Tekken feels like a necessity at this point, and I think it’s a good type of series to add a side character first. I would probably pick someone like nina or paul before yoshi but he’s a good pick too.)
3. Solaire

Why dont I get reminded of this stuff
Do you mean you aren’t getting notifications from this thread? Sometimes it doesn’t give you them if you don’t check the thread in a while

Well anyways here are the results of the Job #138 voting:
UmJammer Lammy 5
Pink Knight 1
Solaire 5
Nemesis 11
Yoshimitsu 11
Igor 6
Wolf 2

And so we’ve got a tie between Nemesis and Yoshimitsu. I’ll start a poll to see who we will add:

(Today would be a good day for tekken side characters in creation threads if yoshi got in lmao)

I'm pretty tired RN but here's Frogger

Frogger, in this case, is non-bipedal. He will use his design from Parker Brothers' Atari 2600 port's box art. Frogger is a small zoner with strong attacks but pitiful defense and speed. Most of his normals would be tongue-based.

B: Lick Flick

Frogger flicks his tongue forwards, this is an angleable move that does no knockback and minimal damage, but comes and ends extremely quick and has very long range. Think of it like Fox's neutral B but as a disjoint.

Up B: Fish Flop
5A176831-FF7F-427C-A5EA-F977D88C97B7.jpeg

In a reference to Konami's Noah's Ark game, Frogger morphs into a frog-headed fish and rises then slams - Nigel's up B in NASB is a good reference point

Down B: Toy Truck

Frogger regurgitates a toy truck, it travels in a small upwards arc, and when it lands it rolls across the ground - dealing light damage and knockback

Side B: Roadkill (You)

(Image is a toy, don't worry)
A wheel flattens Frogger and rolls along with him attached. Frogger can jump off the wheel at any point and it'll continue rolling - it deals more damage and knockback than the toy truck but is also slower.

Final Smash: Helmet Chaos

A cutscene final smash where Frogger puts on the helmet from Helmet Chaos and as a result morphs onto his 2000s era design - he uses his long legs to kick the foes rapidly, once he's done the fighters are launched into oncoming traffic.

Lara Croft moveset attempt
Her normal A will be her shooting her regular handguns, as well as various acrobatic, flipping moves, including jumping kicks, handstands, and cartwheels, along with a few more moves that work gunplay in with that, akin to our timeline's Bayonetta, being only slightly more subdued than her. She'll also occasionally use a climbing axe, especially for a get-up move, a harpoon gun for a grab that can also be used as a tether recovery, and a shotgun and a torch for Smash Attacks.

1635298161901.png

B: Grenade Launcher
This is a fairly common weapon in the classic Tomb Raider games starting with II, but also makes appearances in a few later games. This shoots out explosives that travel decently far and explode upon impact, however, there's a bit of cool down between each use. This is more for ending combos or when you want to deal a heavy blow in general, rather than a bunch of rapid attacks at once.

1635297402741.png

B Forward: Tranquilizer Gun
Rather than any of her regular guns, I felt more unique and useful in utility would be her tranquilizer gun. The ammo in this will stun and slightly slow down enemies, or even cause them to fall asleep if they're at high enough damage percentages or if you manage to hit them with a whole lot, though you'll have to do this very quickly in order to pull it off, as the effects of a single dart don't last very long. But they are long enough to set Lara up for a fast-paced combo, which works will with her "normal" attacks.

rope-arrow.png

B Up: Rope Arrow
Lara shoots out a bow and arrow with a rope behind it. This can be used for further tether recovery, as well as grabbing foes from different angles and longer ranges.

1635300294723.png

B Down: Infada Stone
Lara pull out this artefact from Tomb Raider III, which will allow her to levitate somewhat upward, which can allow her extra recovery in the air, or let her dodge certain attacks on both the air and the ground. Tap B again while this is out to send out a blast of energy, which can target a nearby foe.

1635299925530.png

Final Smash: Atlantean Scion
A powerful artifact from the original Tomb Raider that's also important in the climax, as well as a few other entries. She holds this up and activates it, causing a giant pyramid to pop up from the ground, spiking and damaging foes.

I'll also propose that Lara have costumes for her modern version, a version of the classic one w/the green tanktop, her brown outfit from Tomb Raider: Legend, her black outfit from Angel of Darkness, one that resembles her PS1-era model, and perhaps a few others that are more fully alternate outfits, like a camo suit, a wetsuit, a denim outfit, and maybe an evening dress.

The Frogger and Lara Croft movesets will both be added by default. Now onto the next job:

Job #140: Submit A Stage For Frogger And/Or Lara Croft
Same thing as last time only now with stages. Please either a stage from Frogger, Tomb Raider, or both. Please submit a location, explain how it would work, and why it should be in this game.

Croft Manor

Lara's family home. This stage takes place inside the mansion. It starts out in the main hall, with grand stair cases and a chandelier that can be used as a hazard. It travels through various rooms, including a study, a library, and a trophy room that contains references and objects from past Tomb Raider games.

Frogger: Roadkill Avenue

Drawing from NASB again, this would basically be the Hey Arnold Traffic Jam stage with the bus swapped for a truck. (meaning the window's a wall atop the hood) In the background you drive past a swamp, and in it a farm; forest; and (in reference to Saturday Supercade's Frogger segment) the headquarters of a newspaper company named the Swamp Gazette. Very fast-moving alligators can appear alongside the cars as platforms (and don't bite!) and you can occasionally see comically flattened turtles; green frogs; and purple frogs on the road - don't worry, they're just a little bothered.

Alright, Croft Manor and Roadkill Avenue will be added.
A win by default again lol.

Anyways, the next job:
Job #141: Submit A Future Newcomer Prompt
Submit the prompt we will use for the next newcomer job. It has to be broad and can’t be retsricted to a single company. Three prompts will be used meaning these will be some of the final character prompts of the thread. So keep that in mind as you submit something.

I’ll submit my own prompt again this time:

Submit a second character for a company we decided

We do a poll to decide which company will get a second rep and then we do a job to give them the second rep. I feel like this would get around the "can't be restricted to a single company" rule because everyone gets to vote to decide what company it is
