I've said my piece on real people in this project before, although I've half-thought about making the last base roster vote or first DLC vote be for a real person. Other than that, I've said that someone like the Undertaker, Daft Punk, the Gorillaz, etc. would be eligible for a good few of the jobs in the past and in the future. Laika seems fine for this one, because it's not like the dog or their previous owners would sue the game makers, necessarily, and it wouldn't really be potentially offensive, as far as I can tell. Although I suppose it'd be a similar concern to what Sakurai had with the Nintendogs. Perhaps I worry too much, though.3. PCC Jam (Let real people in!)
I mean, it was a joke to put them. Unless we can put Daft Punk or Undertaker like you said.I've said my piece on real people in this project before, although I've half-thought about making the last base roster vote or first DLC vote be for a real person. In general I feel Nintendo bloat is a problem in creation threads. The Another Universe thread has this very same problem, though it's died down come DLC.Sorry if I'm sounding pushy, but I feel like we're getting bloated on Nintendo content. Some small content from Zelda, Kirby, or Pokemon is okay, but Captain Falcon and Marshall? They're not important.
We need some small Nintendo representation, Y'know?Sorry if I'm sounding pushy, but I feel like we're getting bloated on Nintendo content. Some small content from Zelda, Kirby, or Pokemon is okay, but Captain Falcon and Marshall? They're not important.
Yeah, Nintendo is actually King of Gaming, so what we will do with that?In general I feel Nintendo bloat is a problem in creation threads. The Another Universe thread has this very same problem, though it's died down come DLC.
It depends. The Nintendo profiles here are a mess, but the Nintendo fighters in Another Universe are at least somewhat justifiable. In general I feel Nintendo bloat is a problem in creation threads. The Another Universe thread has this very same problem, though it's died down come DLC.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Rhythm Heaven in Mario! Yeah, this seems fair.Cutting down may happen later, I tried mostly to have a rep for most of the major Nintendo consoles, or ones that have some connection to Mario or a Mario-related series in some way (IIRC, Rhythm Heaven and WarioWare sometimes seem to share a universe, so that's how we get a Marshall cameo). Unless another character from Nintendo ends up added, I'm not going to extend it much more, and if I do, it'll mostly just be related to that character's universe.
Exactly.Oh yeah, I forgot about Rhythm Heaven in Mario! Yeah, this seems fair.
Enemy FrenzyIt's been a good while, so I'll start the voting now.

3. Enemy Frenzy
1. Bugs Bunny
2. Sonic the Hedgehog
3. Scooby-Doo
I give the slight nod to Scooby over my personal runner-ups Pikachu, Wallace & Gromit, and Snoopy, mostly because I heavily associate Scooby-Doo with odd crossovers, not that those other characters haven't had some.
BowserJob #27: Submit a boss for an already represented series.
Not the final boss, but a boss that could potentially be encountered in multiple modes. As you can see, we're mostly going for ones from series that are already in. So Superman/DC, Mickey Mouse/Disney, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Mario, the Muppets (and associated Henson works), Star Wars, Dracula (not sure who it'd be besides him unless you dip into Castlevania more), and Christmas. Or, if you want to get technical, Men in Black, Angry Birds, Pokémon, or Yellow Submarine would count, though all the more minorly referenced ones might be a bit of a stretch.
I'll have ones up shortly, and we may also be able to submit enemies whenever, but I'd say focus on these jobs for the moment.
Tetris and Puyo PuyoOur next jobs...
Job #26: Submit a mini-game.
This is something like Home-Run Contest, Race to the Finish, Break the Targets, etc. Or even something new. These can be sprinkled into the Classic Mode or they can even be played on their own.
I don't really get the point of this if it doesn't utilise the platform fighter mechanics.Tetris and Puyo Puyo

Iconic puzzle games well known around the world, Tetris and Puyo Puyo have had crossovers in the past. In this game, they'd act as minigame segments. The two games would play exactly the same as normal, except you're against a CPU opponent, typically another character from another franchise. Similarly to Puyo Puyo Tetris, enemies can send disruptions after getting good matches, and you can do the same. Tetris acts as an easier mode whilst Puyo Puyo acts as a harder mode, if encountered outside of the area where they can be played on their own (Tetris would be on lower difficulty modes whilst Puyo Puyo would be on higher difficulty modes)
I saw and if beat them with your attacks, it would also count as Duck kill.I can't think of a way to make the puzzle games more fighter-esque, aside from the Puzzle Fighter Turbo aspect, but I can think of a way to make Duck Hunt more fighter-esque: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z65fmry6uxs
