Job 12:
Years after the imprisonment of Lord Vortech in his perfect prison, the energy of the multiverse seems to seep out of every corner. The energy(which named itself Entropy as it was fitting) blasted Batman, Gandalf and Wlydstyle and trapped them in other universes. Barely escaping, X-PO manages to use a portal to get to Vorton, only to find it crumbling into oblivion. With his last breath, he sends out a distress signal.
Meanwhile, in a room outside of the known universe, the signal reaches Saturak(a man with white robes, white eyes, blond hair and a red scarf/Original Character) who sends portals summoning Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes, Darth Vader from Star Wars(though he meant to get Luke instead) and Spider-Man from Marvel to find the Keystones and The First Heroes, who can help find the location of a Lost Keystone. Time is running out. Entrophy is near.
Job 12:
Beyond the LEGO Multiverse, the Entropy, the creator of Lego Multiverse, who built it from random Lego pieces scattered across the void was trying to destroy it because his plan was to rebuild it again in new way (that means that old universe will die, killing the people in it and it rebuild it while creating an army of mismatched clones, who are trying to attack the heroes and they would help Vortech to get out from his prison.
Meanwhile in their, Bugs Bunny was jumping and when he saw a portal, he naively jumped into it and he landed in front of Entropy and his mismatched army, who are trying to defeat him.
In Marvel Universe, Spiderman used his sense to sense the threat and he sensed the Entropy, who is trying to destroy the universe and rebuilt alongside making mismatched clones and he jumped into Portal to check what's going on.
In Star Wars universe, Darth Vader was flying in TIE Fighter, but when he saw a giant silhouette in Space, he flew towards it, but unexpectedly portal sucked him and he crash near Bugs and spidey. Then the Trio teamed up to defeat the Entropy and his army while travelling through old and new dimensions just to recruit people and team up to defeat the ultimate foe before it will rescue Vortech.
Job #12:
A lot of time has passed since the defeat and imprisonment of Vortech, stripped of his title of Lord and held in solitary confinement at Vorton. Even so, his very nature has begun to degrade, slowly breaking down over time as his clutch power diminishes and the very parts from which he is made begin to fade. As his consciousness fades into nothingness, overtaken by Entropy, his body is used as nought more than a puppet - as Entropy, now at the mouth of every world, begins to slowly worm its way into all realities like a parasite, degrading and breaking down everything in its path.
Recognising the threat as Entropy entered the Star Wars galaxy, Emperor Palpatine sent Darth Vader to investigate - alone - though his mysterious disappearance, as well as the complete disappearance of worlds on the Outer Rim, have left the entire galaxy in great disarray.
As Entropy entered the world of Looney Tunes, Bugs was the only one who'd spent enough time in a normal world to realise that the shenanigans going on in the Toon World were getting out of hand. Unable to convince his close friends to join him, he hopped into a portal, looking to find answers.
A new threat approaches the world of Marvel, as the Devourer of Worlds sends his Herald to investigate. Upon the disappearance of the Silver Surfer, however, many space-faring civilisations fear the worst for their safety. Spider-Man, a close ally of the Surfer, decides to call in a favour with the Guardians of the Galaxy, managing to step through a portal in deep space and enter Vorton himself.
What the future holds... is in your hands. But time will pass, and time is running out.
Its a couple years after the first game. Everyone has went back to their lives and things are mostly pretty peaceful.
But something ancient is stirring.
In New York City, Spider-Man chases after the Shocker. In Looney World, Bugs does his usual trick with Elmer Fudd, and on the Death Star, Vader is training with his lightsaber.
Suddenly things begin to turn strange. New York comes under attack by the Martians of Looney Tunes fame, Looney World is beset by the Empire, and on the Star Wars universe Alderaan is attacked by Ronan and the Kree.
Portals begun opening up in these worlds, merging various worlds together. Vader gets in a tie fighter to investigate, Spider-Man swings in himself, and Bugs kind of accidently gets roped in.
They find themselves floating in space time before they are rescued by Doctor Strange, who brings them to his Sanctum Sanctorum, where he explains that the Multiverse is beginning to fold in on itself.
After the events of the first game, travel between dimensions has become more common. But because of this the walls are breaking apart and now an ancient being once lost to time is starting to escape the prison it was sealed in long ago. It's last plot, done via proxy, Lord Vortech, was foiled, but now it's coming in its true form. It's now up to our three unlikely heroes to try and stop it.
Job 12:
In Toon World, Bugs Bunny is messing with Elmer Fudd, when all of a sudden the ground beneath them collapses, creating a hole between dimensions into New York City, where we see Spider-Man chasing down the Green Goblin.
Bugs starts falling but is caught by Spider-Man's web. Spidey assumes he is another supervillain (due to the amount of animal themed villains he has), but they don't have time to explain as another hole opens up beneath them and they land in the Death Star II.
we see Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker dueling while Palpatine watches them. The two are noticed and Darth Vader starts to attack them before all three fall through another hole, and another, and another.
They continue to crash through dimensions until they land in a strange world between dimensions. They see what appears to be Vortech, now corrupted and degraded.
Vader demands to know what is happening, and the figure explains that they are Entropy, and that what they see now is just a host because their true form is incomprehensible.
Entropy says that all they need to know is that all of their worlds will collapse and them with it, to which our trio says is blasphemy. Entropy then disappears leaving our heroes to try and make it back to their worlds and stop them.
The player has control of Darth Vader, Bugs, and Spider Man at the start in story mode. Playable characters from the first game begin to fight Entropy who releases waves of studs to consume them. Three escaped, while the others we turned into evil clones by Entropy. The three survivors try to free the mini figures and stop Entropy from destroying the Lego Multiverse.
With an army of Minifigures under its control, Entropy sought to create a new world. The playable characters and their countless stories... came to an end as studs consumed them.
Thus, the universe was crushed in the hands of Entropy. Playable characters who fought the studs were devoured. The CPUs lost their bodies and became stickers. Only three survived... Some stars of hope twinkle faintly as the dust settles on the new world.
Plot submissions are now over!So here is how I start the story
Deep in the depths of an unknown cosmos, an event of great magnitude begins to take place. This event is called the Crash of Creation, a celebration where ancients harness the power of various sacred Lego artifacts and convert them into life energy for the cosmos. You can see various magical items being potted together into a stew pot and mixed up by these ancients. Usually one needs to have 1 cup of magic, 1 bowl of stardust, and 1 teaspoon of light to create this energy but some moron miscalculated the ingredients and multiplied the ingredients by 100. So this energy overflowed and caused the ancients to become disintegrated and combined into a single force, the title then dubs this as the Entropy. One ancient managed to survive this catastrophic Crash of Creation, and sent portals around the various dimensions in hopes of finding some heroes to save the world. However, the Entropy absorbed him as well and had their force manifest as legions of undead to attack the 3 nearest dimensions. Alongside that Entropy shattered the links connecting the dimensions causing them to fuse and mix around until they form a fortress for the force of Entropy to call home, dubbed The Crack of Entropy which combines stuff from all completed levels.
First, we see the force of Entropy form themselves into cartoony robotic hunters with explosive blunderbusses, they captured all the peaceful animals of the Toon Forest, a cartoony forest filled with peaceful cute animals, and they begin to experiment on these creatures into monsters, but one begins to allude to them, being Bugs Bunny. During one of his escapades, Bugs escaped the forest with the hunters in tow while saving some local wildlife and fell into a strange red portal to a bizarre metal moon. Meanwhile, in the Death Star the forces of Entropy possessed the stormtroopers like a zombie plague attacking the under-construction battle station, in response Palpatine ordered Darth Vader to investigate in his personal star destroyer, however, Bugs suddenly crash-landed into the ship much to Vader's dismay and the hunters and zombie stormtroopers decided to team up and attack them both. Vader decided to help Bugs and escaped in his personal TIE Fighter where they suddenly were sent into a space storm. There they were warped into Manhattted where Spider-Man was battling Doc Oct, Green Goblin, and Carnage. However, after crash landing the three villains were tossed away and Spidey not knowing any better decided to team up with them both when the Entropy created symbiote monsters from the remains of Carnage. By touching hands the three were transported once again to a strange planet just outside the Crack of Entropy with various portals and interdimensional planetary bodies shattered because of the powers of Entropy. The goal is to collect legendary bricks which contain the souls of these lost ancients from these shattered dimensions who take the form of iconic items of their world while the villains of these worlds try and harness the powers of the ancients and the Entropy. They also need an army and you need to find and recruit Minifigures to continue the fight against the Entropy with Vader, Spidey, and Bugs going their separate ways to explore these strange dimensions in the case of Level Packs. The rest is up to you in future jobs.

Plot submissions for story mode are now over! Vote for your top three favorites! First place is three points, second place is two points, third place is one point. You can vote for your own in second or third place. Only one plot will be selected for the story mode!
Job #13: Submit an alternate version of the TIE Fighter!
Every vehicle/gadget in LEGO Dimensions had a total of three versions. The first version is the default vehicle/gadget. The second and third versions are usually completely different with their own special abilities. Alternative versions of vehicles/gadgets can come from the same franchise or be completely original creations. You can even submit a list of abilities from the first LEGO Dimensions for your vehicle submissions. The top two most voted versions will be selected! Below are some examples of vehicle/gadget versions from the first LEGO Dimensions. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me!
Currently, there is no roadmap set in stone yet, but I have been trying to figure out one for the thread. So what is the roadmap for this thread? Im interested?
Dont have anything for the cutscene but I think the gateway should be red in color, it would resemble more of a clock due to the concept of space-time fitting more into the game, the face of the clock would have a swirly substance in the middle acting as the portal with the clock hands acting as the places where you insert the figures, by turning the hands of the clock you can have a variety of effects happen in game, though that if for another job.I’m sorry I took so long to update the thread!

TIE Fighter version submissions are now over! The TIE Bomber and the TIE Whisper will be selected as alternative versions. Congratulations to KneeOfJustice99 , cashregister9 , and thanks to everyone who participated in this job!
Job #14: Submit a design for the gateway!
One of the main gimmicks of LEGO Dimensions was to place down LEGO minifigures and vehicles/gadgets on the gateway to spawn them into the game! In LEGO Dimensions 2, there will be a new gateway, but we also need a new design for it. You can describe how it would look or you can even create your own drawing or sketch if you like! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!
Job #15: Submit the opening cutscene!
Now that we have our plot, it’s time to submit an opening cutscene. The opening cutscene must follow Darkonedagger’s plot. Characters must either talk, interact with each other, or both. You can write your own lines for characters to say if you like. You can also include extra details and comedic moments as well. The opening cutscene must have the starter pack characters united and lead into them going to an unknown Dimension (first level). Dimension will be decided through a future job! Below I have the plot from the first LEGO Dimensions (from LEGO Dimensions Wiki) and the opening cutscene for examples. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!
Examples from the LEGO Dimensions Wiki’s Storyline Section
There is an ancient planet at the center of the LEGO Multiverse inhabited by an evil mastermind, Lord Vortech. It is said that he who controls the Foundation Elements that this planet is built upon, controls all of the Multiverse. Lord Vortech has vowed to be that ruler, summoning characters from a variety of LEGO worlds to help him find these building bricks of LEGO civilization. Some have agreed. Others have rebelled. And only the combined powers of the greatest LEGO heroes can stop him.
When a mysterious and powerful vortex suddenly appears in various LEGO worlds, Robin, from the DC Comics universe, MetalBeard, from The LEGO Movie universe and Frodo, from The Lord of the Rings universe are swept away. To save their friends, Batman, Gandlf, and Wyldstyle bravely jump into the vortex. As they journey to locations beyond their wildest imaginations in search of their friends, they soon realize that Lord Vortech is summoning villains from across different LEGO worlds to help him gain control. As his power grows, worlds mix, unexpected characters meet and all boundaries are broken. Our heroes must travel through space and time to rescue their friends before the vortexes destroy all of LEGO humanity.

Job #17: How many levels should we have for our story mode?
While we are voting for level layouts, now is a good time to decide on how many levels we should have for our story mode. LEGO Dimensions had a total of fifteen levels for story mode. It’s also likely that we may also have original locations like Foundation Prime. We could also revisit previous worlds from the first LEGO Dimensions as well. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me!
Job #18: Submit a new franchise for LEGO Dimensions 2!
Now that we are voting on layouts, it’s time for us to start picking out a new franchise. Currently we have three franchises and we will have a total of 18 franchises by the end of year one! Franchises can be anything from movies, tv series, cartoons, video games, books, comics, anime/manga, brand/companies, etc. Franchises can also be from current or past LEGO themes. Franchises can even be related to current franchises in LEGO Dimensions (DC Comics has the LEGO Batman Movie and Teen Titans Go!). The winning franchise’s world will be used as our first level! Only one will be selected! Below is a list of every series included from the first LEGO Dimensions! If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me.
