Don't beat yourself up over it, not the first time this has happened (Vocaloid comes to mind) - the thread can easily survive this sort of thing from what I've observed, and hell, it goes through similar downtime most franchises when we're doing wheels and tracks - I'll wait for more players to chime in before making a choice.

Anime has a bit of a stereotype surrounding it in the Western world - buff dudes and spiky hair, superpowers and planets getting destroyed - but not all anime is like that! Please submit an anime or manga franchise that is neither "shonen" nor "seinen" - keep in mind that I'm using a rather strict (and not completely accurate) definition of these two terms - I will allow franchises aimed at a shonen or seinen audience that don't have major action elements (Death Note for example), and I will allow franchises with action elements not aimed at a male audience (Magical girl shows for example) or action-oriented male-aimed kodomo (Pokemon, if we hadn't already included it, would be allowed; so would Astro Boy) - basically nothing that hits that easy-to-market-to-gaijins sweetspot of male appeal and action. No Narutos, My Hero Acadamias, Attack on Titans, or Jojos. Remember that this has to be a Japanese IP, no Avatar/RWBY/Cory in the House/Airline instructional videos from the 80s. Please include an image and the first 3 racers

I am not sure if this counts but this anime is long overdue to join DriDim. Speed Racer/Mach GoGoGo is an anime franchise that pretty much defined anime in the United States until the 90s. Since then, it spawned a franchise in America resulting in a live-action movie, an one-act play, toys, video games, etc. This franchise is kind of a big no-brainer to join a big crossover racing game as after all, the series is about auto racing.

Speed Racer/Gō Mifune (the protagonist)

Racer X (The Masked Racer) (The mysterious character)

Trixie/Michi Shimura (The female rep, she is the girlfriend of Speed Racer and is basically the anti-Penelope Pitstop)
