It might not be the first thing you think of when you hear fantasy, but fairy tales absolutely fit the genre and so why not add Shrek, one of the most famous deconstructions of the genre that got extremely popular subverting the tropes of the genre and adding something new to it? Shrek has also been in the public eye a lot recently due to the new Cat In Boots (he even appears for like less than a second in it in a flashback) and there are lots of iconic characters from it. The series surprisingly hasn’t been in any kart racers yet, especially weird given Madagascar Karts exists.

OK, this only really counts as a fantasy franchise in the same way MGM Cartoons counts as a racing franchise, but that still makes it elegible.

Adventure Time is an American fantasy animated series created by Pendleton Ward and distributed by Warner Bros. domestic television. The show is about Finn & Jake, a couple who travels through Ooo and fights random foes that live on the continent.
Adventure Time became a successful cartoon that saved the network and pop culture phenomenon due to it's writing, animation and voice acting. Adventure Time is one of early 2010'sCN cartoons that we're nostalgic for in recent times like Regular Show, TAWOG and etc.

Also the franchise itself is not afraid of crossovers, since it appeared in many crossover CN games and even made collabs with other non-CN franchises.

I'm submitting this franchise because it fits the prompt and we don't have a CN franchise in this game right now.

THE fantasy seires. Designs will mainly take from the film trilogy. Could also include content from the Hobbit and the Rings of Power. There's plenty of characters and locations. Vehicles might be tricky but there are options and we could always dip into animals and mounts.

Tons of awesome everything - I really don't think we could run out of potential content with this route, apart from having to get creative for vehicles. I think the main issue with submitting Zelda is the fact of how many iterations there are of just three different characters. In the interest of series representation, I'm keeping it to Smash's main triforce.

The first three racers will be Link (Breath of the Wild), Zelda (A Link Between Worlds), and Ganondorf (Ocarina of Time).
