That's because Isabelle is literally the only new piece of info we've gotten since August 8th. As everyone is painfully aware, they are hardcore stalling for time to the point that not even all the new stuff shown at E3 has been shown on the site yet."Two weeks since the last reveal" hit me like a truck. Really does feel like a month. Dang.
Actually, I have a crazy story considering leaks. I was at the Smash Bros. College Tailgate Tour with my buddy, and we actually were talking with one of the guys working there as we waited in line. We were talking, and he asked if we wanted to hear something about the game nobody else knew and we said sure. Well, he told us that they already started to work on the DLC (kinda like with Mewtwo in Smash 4) and that it was Rayman. I asked if it was legit, and he said yeah. My friend asked how much he knows, and the guys started talking about the following:
Characters
Stages
- The rumor about 7 or so more characters was correct (way to go RelaxAlax for figuring it out!)
- For Echo Fighters, they are Ken (echoed from Ryu) and Viridi (echoed from Palutena)
- An Alolan Trainer (equipped with Popplio, Torracat, and Decidueye) being in a similar case as Isabelle
- Isaac
- Karate Joe
- Banjo & Kazooie (he said these two would be that ultimate, final "hurrah" at the end of the next Smash Bros. Direct)
Story
- When Sakurai said 105 stages, he was actually lying (so other leaks that say 108 are correct)
- Alter of the Sun and Moon - Will have Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma effect the stage, like Spear Pillar
- The Venus Lighthouse - I asked the guy if it was like in Smash Flash 2, but he said no.
- Spiral Mountain - Being the stage that represents Banjo & Kazooie
- The Beginning - Being the ultimate Smash Bros. they wanted a stage that pays homage to the original game. It's actually the desktop from that opening cutscene
- I remember him mentioning a Rhythm Heaven stage, but I don't any interest in the series so I easily forgot. It's nothing big.
When I asked if there was a story mode, he said of course, which kinda made me feel dumb for asking.
I asked if there would be any DLC for the story mode, and he said he didn't know, but it would make sense to have a DLC Season Pass that adds all of the DLC characters into the story (kinda as a last "hurrah" for Ultimate), but that was his prediction, not something he knows for sure, leaving me wonder if the story will feel unfinished until we get this expansion.
- The Idea of Spirits was correct.
- The main villain is named Chimon and at first wanted to get the Smash Bros. to "end" each other. When that didn't work, he enlisted Hades, who then got Ganondorf, Bowser, and K. Rool (this is more of a prologue)
- Wario is not a villain this time around; however, Mewtwo acts like an Antagonist in the beginning (similar to Meta Knight in the Subspace Emissary)
- Minecraft will have a stage in the story but NO BOSS

Well, take this however you guys want, but I'm gonna start researching a little to see if there's any chance he could be right (that name Chimon didn't sit right with me...)
As much as I'd like this, a guy working at a booth for Nintendo is even less reliable than someone's uncle who works at Nintendo. It doesn't help that certain things make no sense--Alolan Trainer, while I would personally prefer that, makes no sense in a limited roster, Sakurai wouldn't have been lying when talking about the stages, rather he would have simply not mentioned if there were more, Spirits is unlikely to be the name of the mode and (like the box) a placeholder to not unintentionally leak anything. There's many more issues I have, but those are the most glaring.Actually, I have a crazy story considering leaks. I was at the Smash Bros. Hmm, seems like the leaker has ignore the fact that Sakurai CLEARLY tell us that to "don't expect TOO MANY fighters." MULTIPLE TIMES..Actually, I have a crazy story considering leaks. Nihilist theory is essentially the anti-theory. It posits that every theory circulating around the Smash Bros. fandom is false as they all rely on circumstantial evidence and don't have any convincing arguments for their validity. Of course, with it comes a certain caution as to how many characters remain, but with it you can largely believe believe whatever you want.Just came to check how it’s going
I heard senjougahara got another thing right and that gives points for Steve I guess we have two gemusatu 2.0 I guess
And I got one more thing I have been hearing about this theory could the Nihilist theory can someone explain to me what it is or link it?

Yeah at least spend a week or two bashing box theorists before posting a bull**** leak. It's really odd to me how every fake leaker that posts here fills out their bio and everything, then immediately posts a fake leak.
I don't understand?
Do you think filling out the characters you played in smash makes your leak any more valid? You still only have 1 post.
SNK Fans: SNK can’t get any weirder than turning Terry into a girl in a waifu fighting game!!!1!1Remember how that Senjougahara guy said Steve was gonna be in Smash? He also said a female Skullomania was gonna be in that SNK fanservice game.
Look what just popped up.
Friend or Foe... Enter the Skullolady!? Skullo Mania brings the justice in SNK HEROINES Tag Team Frenzy October 11 as a new DLC character! See her(?!) amazing moves in our newest trailer here: (https://t.co/I8hiOgqzE6) #SNKHEROINES #PS4 #NIntendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/utWak73EPt

I mean, as cool as this would be, I'm sorry to break it to you, but I think it's fake because of how many characters there is and the fact that "The Idea of Spirits was correct." I'm not feeling this at all.Actually, I have a crazy story considering leaks. I was at the Smash Bros. I'm completely ready to drop the character hype and catch a ride in Spirits hype. I don't have any "must have" character left and I just want something epic like Brawl (don't @ me, I liked SSE).TBH though I probably care more about Spritis than characters at this point, but I know I'm probably alone on that, lol.
There a lot of people that call us crazy when it comes to this but he did it for Smash 4 and brawl. The man is known for subverting expectations with smash. That being said, I'd rather be fooled for a 3rd time. I'm going to expect nothing else on purpose, for the possibility of being shocked again. I'm cool with this game the way it is already.Have any of you considered the possibility that Sakurai's statement of yesterday could be a way to troll us and catch us off guard for something major soon? I'm not necessarily expecting it at all, but there's always the possibility. Especially with Sakurai. Just wanted to bring it up.
This might sound boring but this is the most likely reason the direct was delayed if anythingThe direct was delayed because Cities Skylines has a DLC named "Natural Disasters", they had to skip over it on the rescheduled direct.
They're synonyms when used in a non-scientific context.Sorry, this has been bugging me for a while and while it doesn't hurt much of anything... I wanna talk about it anyway. People are using the word 'theory' incorrectly a lot in this thread.
A theory is something that has been scientifically tested and proven to be accurate within our current knowledge and equipment.
A hypothesis is a guess based on the information available.
You do not have 'blog theory' or 'music theory' or so on. You have a 'blog hypothesis' and a 'music hypothesis', etc.
Was that not people inexplicably "calling out" Vergeben for perceived backtracking? So what's the newest info?
Female Skullomania is something Senjou predicted, but I heard that they backtracked on Steve?
They backtracked so fast they fell into the DLC traphole.Female Skullomania is something Senjou predicted, but I heard that they backtracked on Steve?
i just got home, did Senjou actually backtrack on Steve? and Female Skullomania? i'm guessing that's for SnKSo what's the newest info?
Female Skullomania is something Senjou predicted, but I heard that they backtracked on Steve?
Not true at all, mate. While I am invested in the roster, i'm really excited to see what this new mode is.TBH though I probably care more about Spritis than characters at this point, but I know I'm probably alone on that, lol.
Not really much of anything besides getting mentioned occasionally in a clearly fake leak. What's the word on Rayman fellows?
Yeah, it's likely to happen at some point imoThat interview said the game would be going gold soon right? Think someone would break street date once that happens?
Two wrongs don't make a right, but the blog theorist and their army of Discord white knights kind of started this. You can't even disagree with their posts on Reddit without their discord channel coming en masse and downvoting you into oblivion.I'm sorry but this whole Nihilist theory seems to be like.... incredibly rude? Theorycrafting can be fun for some. That doesn't mean you should make fun of people for it. Yes most theories are unlikely but it can be highly satisfying when you find one and it turns out to be right.
Like I get that hating on theories is the cool thing to do on smashboards right now, but you don't have to be jerks about it.
I come here to see leaks, not the Theory Hate fan club.
So that doesn't make you guys any better. Honestly I'm just as turned off by this place now by how impossible it is to try to think a theory without being mocked by you guys. Just because they're jerks doesn't mean you need to be jerks too.Two wrongs don't make a right, but the blog theorist and their army of Discord white knights kind of started this.
