Not anything new, wasn't Duck Hunt in Smash 4 considered a higher tier character in Japan compared to West?

Duck Hunt was mid-tier, but Yoshi was high tier and Wario was mid-tier bordering on high tier.

This isn't a critique at all, I'm just curious: Would Travis be another sword style user? Or does he have range attacks?

I just watched Ninja Gaiden gameplay and I'm worried he doesn't have much to separate himself from the FE characters. How do you think he'd be implemented uniquely?

I'm sure Travis use wrestling moves while fighting.

As for Hayabusa...how does he looks like a FE character?!

Shedinja would actually be really cool, and I actually had an idea for how shedinja could work.

So Shedinja's main gimmick in Pokémon is that it only has 1 HP, but only super-effective moves hit it. It also has a large open crack in its shell on its back.

So what if it's really, really easily launched, but it can only be hit from behind?

i was actually thinking about shedinja as a character too while I was completing his spirit thingy

So, anyone here have any suggestions for playing Isabelle? Struggling to figure out how to properly utilize Rocket and Fishing Rod.

If you wanted to talk about a sword fighter with no range attacks, Robin and Corrin are bad examples.

Anyway, I don't know what's so hard about new sword fighters, he could have new and interesting ninja magic that Greninja doesn't use. His normals might be a bit similar to some other sword fighters, but it's not like same thing doesn't happen with brawlers.

My only gripe with Swordfighters in Smash is that most of them could have been much more interesting:

- Lucina and Chrom could use different weapons like in Project X Zone 2.
- Cloud could use some of his magic like Meteor, or some summon mechanic.
- Toon Link and Young Link could use moves derived from their respective games instead of being Link clones.
- Roy could use a ranged attack to differentiate him from Marth like the fireball attack he uses in his game.
- Dark Pit could use other weapons from KI:U, like Attack Orbitars, Guns, Maces, 2-Handed Swords, etc.

"Clones could have been not clones" doesn't make much sense out of an ideal world and doesn't apply to only sword-fighters.
