I don't know much about VGC but that thing is a monster in Smogon OU. Its hidden ability Contrary flips the effects of state changing moves, and Leaf Storm sharply lowers its special attack. Have a Serperior with Leaf Storm and Contrary, however, and you've got a pokemon with a 140 STAB move that doubles its special attack, and it has a high base speed stat to pull it off.

Not that there's anything wrong with liking a pokemon that isn't that useful competitively.

Simply put, Serperior with Contrary is able to use a move (Leaf Storm) that would usually weaken it to become more powerful instead.

This is a very big boon. most of the Pokémon with Contrary (i.e. Shuckle and Spinda) are too weak to actually capitalise on it.

I always feel like I’m right at the cusp of elite smash...
Right now I’m at 2.1M and I feel like I’m so close to getting there.

It’s kinda funny that Palutena is popular in this game bc I feel like last game I was the only person alive who played her.

Does anyone else see their main a lot when they play online and have you learned any neat tricks?

(By the way I think online is honestly fine now I don’t really have many complaints except changing characters in quick play)
