So it wasn't confirmed

Even so, this leaves /one/ blank slot-and at this point, a Season 2 may be announced. It sounds to me like they're very much setting it up in a way where they can allow themselves more room if at all necessary. Either way it's definitely planned with DLC in mind.
I see no reason why this can't go for the Music Menu.

Your theory relies on Sakurai and Nintendo not mentioning the presence of a stage for no discernable reason.

Shovel Knight if you haven't somehow played it already.
Etrian Odyssey if you like RPG dungeon crawlers and map deawing
Axiom Verge is a great Metroidvania and I love how much it subverts your expectations.

Probably the most effective, tbh. None of the other villains come even close to the level of constant interaction and personal connection that Kamoshida has.

My theory doesn't even hinge on PP getting a stage though.
No matter what one slot will be left open. This is a precaution.
The same thing can be thought for the music, as multiple layout's have been designed with future content in mind. Take the Box for example.

Woo! hype! My code just got in.

So, when are we figuring the PP character will drop? I think it'll probably be landing by mid Feb. That's when his amiibo releases. Also, we may get to see some Joker pics or art by then, and maybe info on the stage. Also curious to see when the second DLC character will release. I'm not hugely into super anime aesthetic or JRPGs so I'm not really hyped by most of the names floating around, but I'm curiouspleasedovahkiinpleasedovahkiinpleasedovahkiin

And I expect Mii costume DLC, especially since all of the 3rd party ones are gone. Please, make the Tails one look as good as the Skull Kid one (or better yet, just make some cheap echoes and throw Tails in there)

Also, more thoughts:
My Queen no longer feels bad! I'd have preferred the stone cold ***** version from Twilight Princess, but Din's Fire no longer going helpless is wonderful.
Holy **** is a beast. I'm running classic to unlock so I'm not trying particularly hard, but he's got my highest score now.
Also, I may have to consider switching mains now that I just unlocked and he's proving to be the Link I know and love. Pity he didn't get the new Jump Attack dash, but this one is loads of fun.

Also, and kick major *** as well. I'm much better with rushdown heavies, and they don't all feel sluggish this round.
