Tbh, I actually liked that part. The twist with:

Joker surviving

Played out really well.

The game’s ending isn’t particularly bad either, and the final fight is pretty well executed.

It’s moreso things like

Shido and Goro’s exposition dialogue, Morgana’s hissy fit, and other stuff like that that get to me. The last 3-4 months of P5s story are a mix of good and bad moments, IMO.

yeah, I know what you mean. I loved it over all, but there was one part that kinda irked me a bit, but when i thought about it, I let it slide since there was a decent reason for it.

Morgana was being a bit of pain, suddenly flipping out and leaving, but when I thought about it, it made a little sense. It was gradually building as his memories returned that he was feeling less confident; less sure he was even human. So when a new team member is added AND they take over the analytical position on the team better than he ever could (Futaba was a master hacker after all), he had a bit of an identity crisis. With that in mind, him splitting in order to feel like he mattered made a bit of sense. He dragged out his return a bit more than was needed, but luckily the person he found had a good head on her shoulders and was able to convince him the Phantom Thieves really did miss him.

I just discovered that Candy Kong is a spirit in this game and that her puppet fighter is Bayonetta. I take back everything nice I've ever said about Ultimate and Smash Brothers as a whole. I give this game a 0/10, I'd cancel my preorder if it wasn't already too late.

Bit of an off topic question but did anyone else get their code for PP yet? I claimed the coins on friday and have gotten nothing so far. Im not sure if the weekend is being counted in those two days or not. Though I don't get why that would matter when sending out an email

I got my Piranha Plant code at least a day after. Check your Spam or another email (I created a lot of rerolling accounts for FEH so I have like 5 different emails for Nintendo).

NP, I'm frustrated I can't use my configs. I keep jumping when I mean to grab, and tap jump is awful.

Not be useable at all most likely, DLC characters are rarely ever involved in fighting game story modes unless they're already close to compleye.

Granted, but most story modes actually have a plot. WoL really doesn't.

I really have no problem with any newcomers. They're all really fun to play and leagues above smash 4's newcomers. I can't think of a single newcomer from the last came (besides DLC) that was actually fun to play besides maybe villager

Also, in general I'm not too big on this game's newcomers in playstyle but those two interest me particularly little.

He's my favorite newcomer thus far and his moveset just clicks for me. is pretty great too but I'm neutral on the rest for now since I haven't spent much time on them.

After playing some games with ToasterBrains, my thoughts on the online are that it is:

Okay-ish. There are some minor lag problems that need to be worked on, but I think if they can patch in better matchmaking, a proper ranked mode, and fix some latency issues it'd be fine. Right now I'd rank it just below Splatoon's online.

King K. Rool, with a surprising rising star in Dark Samus. The Belmonts are growing on me the more I learn how to use their kits and unfortunately, Incineroar I'm liking less and less. I don't really care for Inkling either. They're designed well, but I'm just not liking them as much as I hoped I would.

Still yet to unlock to determine their order in 'play priority': Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, Bowser Jr. & Co., Villager and I think Peach (I got Daisy before Peach lol). Sometimes a character releases and I'm like 'Oh yeah, I forgot I didn't have them', so I'm not entirely sure that's the full list of people I don't have yet lol.

In the UK, it's sold 1.3 million. And that's only taking account of just physical copies.

If it's true that Smash Ultimate is the fastest selling Switch game, I expect it to do more numbers than Pokemon Let's Go.

This idea was discussed as early as during the Grinch Hoax. We have no way of either proving or disproving until all of the DLC is out, so it's a useless point.

Haven't tried out every newcomer yet, but if I had to rank what I have played:

(He's pretty fun, but I honestly prefer Richter's design.)
(He's great, not much more I can say.)
(REALLY liking the floatiness of the character. I feel she may actually be a bit better than Samus? Some of her moves seem to come out faster.)
(I love her, but seeing as how I'm already maining an incredibly technical character in Inkling, Isabelle will probably only be a secondary while I main other characters for the sake of variety.)
(Liking him a lot more than I thought I would TBH.)

TBH none of the issues are that bad. There was one or two moments of lag in one or two of the ten or so matches me and Toaster played, and maybe a small instance of latency here and there. Otherwise, it plays fine as long as your connection is fine. I really do think the issue is on match making more than connection. All fighting games use P2P, so that isn't the issue here. Some people must not have a great connection, I suppose.

From my experience it was a lot worse in the first day or so. After they did the maintenance I've been mostly fine other than the occasional hiccups in some matches.

I didn't realize how much the Mii Swordfighter's moveset clicked with me until I got it in WoL and then decided to use it dedicatedly until I got Ike. Mostly because I never used Mii's seriously in SM4SH.

That's Japan's physical sales. And those are better than Poke LG.

It topped UK charts, but nobody reported any actual numbers, just repeated percent comparisons to previous smash games.

I'm loving how Ridley, K. Rool and Incineroar feel.

Inkling, the Belmonts, Dark Samus and Chrom are all fun.

I dislike playing Daisy and Isabelle but that's largely because I disliked how the characters they were based on felt. Admittedly Isabelle feels better than Villager.

Ridley feels fantastic though.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Ken doesn't feel right either cause I don't like Ryu's playstyle.
