Just taking a look at the Tips section.
"Don't attack the poor Cucco! No really, don't do that, or it'll call its whole flock. If that happens, try to get other fighters mixed up in the mayhem."
"If you hit another fighter with a Cucco, it'll get angry at them instead of you! The flock won't hurt you at all! Maybe being thrown doesn't ruffle feathers?"
"If a Cucco is damaged by a stage hazard, it's not sure who to get angry with... so it calls the flock on EVERYONE. Not fair! Not fair!"

Fear the Chicken.

The "Techniques" sub-section is... pretty interesting. It tells the player about some pretty high level techniques, like Teching (they call it "Breaking Your Fall")
There's both informative and funny stuff in there.
Short-Hop Attack Power: "If you use an aerial attack during a short hop, the attack power for the move will be a little less than normal. It's a low risk move, but also has low returns.
Shield Breaks at the End of a Battle: When your shield is broken and you're launched, you normally get a short period of invincibility. However, you won't get this invincibility during the final countdown of a battle.
Dangerous Shield: "If your shield breaks near an edge, a foe could casually push you off the stage while laughing. Be careful where you use your shield!"
Crouching's Defensive Value: "Going into a crouch will help protect you from being launched as far. Walking while crouched, however, won't help at all - but it looks pretty hilarious!"

I've had a similar conversation with Dragonball fans over the Xenoverse games.

"Ah man, Xenoverse is so much better than the old DBZ games."

Gamefreak certainly knows its audience and all, but without the Pokemon name attached, I think their games would lose to the competition more often than not.

Ed Boon just doesn't know how to keep his fans' hype in check. Literally every game he teases every other character, and then puts in some character that nobody asked for. It's like Sakurai but intentionally trolling.
