Idk if me nerding out about Persona 5 everytime I talk about it is a good or bad thing

My Queen no longer feels bad! I'd have preferred the stone cold ***** version from Twilight Princess, but Din's Fire no longer going helpless is wonderful.

I'm coming around on the new design. She's absolutely adorable, and the moveset is much more functional. I don't feel like I'm fighting against the game's normal flow to make her work anymore.

SideB and downB offstage puts reliable recovery within the realm of reason again. UpB feels more precise. The new shothop mechanic makes landing heels so much easier, even at a small price in power. The only thing I miss from old Zelda, aside from her TP look (best Zelda) is her dtilt. It has almost zero use now aside from following up with a dash attack at low percents.

Whenever can we expect a new Nintendo Direct? It's possible that a new character will also be showcased there, maybe linked with a new game or a game we know about for a while (Fire Emblem Three Houses is everyone's suspect and you all know it).

It isn't a delay as Nintendo's been inconsistent with directs for a while. And it's not just Persona 5 potentially being on the Switch, it's also Joker. Joker clearly isn't far enough in development to show us anything other than "He's in". But in about 2 months? There's a good chance he'd be presentable with them showing an actual trailer along with a release date

The last, non-Smash was in September, an entire 3 months ago, let that sink it.


January or Feb both are likely, Feb seems more likely since they'd pull the "Piranha Plant is available after the Direct" and then drop some gameplay of Joker with a release date for him, while teasing DLC character 3.

I mean, Persona 5 is a pretty major game so it being on a different console for a different audience, ESPECIALLY after Joker's announcement, would be a big deal too. It's just speculation on my part though

I've never heard that Digimon lore before, like ever. It must have been super, super early in it's life or something (like G1 early).

But yes, Digimon and Tamagotchi are "unrelated" but two sides of the same coin regardless.

I'm gonna pull the one time use entitlement card here, but considering early adopters got to play with Mewtwo like two-weeks before everyone else, feels a bit odd that we wouldn't get the same with Piranha Plant.


That, and pretty much everyone's going to have Plant if they release him for the early adopters in like, mid-January anyway.

It's sold over a million just in Japan in the last few days, for comparison games like Odyssey and Let's Go were in the ten thousands in their first days I believe.

That would be pretty upsetting if that's the case. There are enough Mario stages that fit Piranha Plant as it is.
