Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

A lot of **** went down.
Bandana Dee and Elma are spirits, Classic mode bosses are being dropped, Palutena's Guidance is back... the list goes on!

Just watched this GameXplain video.

Happy that Palutena's Guidance is back, and has new bits for new characters.

Even more happy that character's Classic modes have different bosses instead of everyone just having Master Hand. Gives me hope that the game will have a good number of bosses we haven't seen yet.

At least it wasn't ProfiasaGaming, but I'm mad I got myself spoiled that Classic Mode still has bonuses. Wolf's Classic Mode being based off of cut characters sounds cool, but it makes me think that :ulticeclimbers::ultyounglink:it's going to be a recurring theme:ultsnake::ultpichu:

And then you have Cloud, who can't have his English voice due to unions and contracts and other fun things. He keeps his original Japanese VA at least.

There has to be at least 2 third party DLC characters! I can’t think of more than 3 Nintendo characters for DLC that haven’t been deconfirmed by spirits. There’s Edelgard, a Pokemon from Gen 8 possibly, Professor Layton, another LoZ character?? There are so many big third parties that aren’t spirits, it’s impossible for none of them to be DLC. Rayman, Banjo & Kazooie, Crash, Sora, Steve, Phoenix Wright, Lloyd Irving, Spyro etc. All these would be perfect for DLC characters.

As a huge Uprising fan I kind of want to be offended by this, but deep down I know Viridi is just getting what she deserves for being such a jerk to Chrom before.

WoL for sure, but they may also be secret bosses or something at a certain difficulty level.
Who knows

"Once you beat Classic on 9.0 or above, you unlock Classic Classic..."

Master Hand only shows up on the classic routes for the Miis, sense they have the Smash icon.

Viridi is a "love to hate" character for me. I like that she has a nice enough relationship with Palutena, Pit and Dark Pit, but she kinda
committed a genocide
so I won't feel sorry for her for stuff like this.

Cool character, though.

Something to note. Apparently Cloud was THE last veteran to add to the roster. Square Enix is known to be stingy, but this is interesting to note.
Also if you look through Stealths tweets, 700 Spirits is the total and there are No Square Enix Spirits out of the 500 known.

And before some goes 'But GENO!!!' They were shown as a battle icon for online NOT a Spirit.

Things are getting interesting.

Considering none of the preview footage has them starting above, like, 5.0 difficulty, it's possible that the Hands show up on higher difficulties the way Crazy Hand and Master Core did in 4.

Keep in mind that...

(1) We have no way of knowing whether or not a Spirit deconfirms a character.
(2) Third-parties missing from WoL aren't automatically more likely, especially if they're from a company who isn't already involved with Smash.
