What's the problem with JonTron?

If I remember right, he went on a podcast and expressed controversial views on certain controversial subjects. I believe it was about Minorities and Crime Rates.

Microsoft and Nintendo are getting quite close, and they help each other with Minecraft. It's on numerous Nintendo consoles.
Steve being in makes a lot of sense.

Theres no way Microsoft has a closer relationship with Nintendo than Ubisoft. We have Mario+Rabbids Kingdom battle, plus a Donkey Kong expansion, Star Link battle for Atlas with fox. Rayman appearing in Smash Wii U and Mario and Luigi skins appearing in Rayman legends. We have yet to see Banjo or Steve or any Microsoft character appear in the same game as any of the Nintendo characters. Throw in the fact that the Rabbids are Spirits and that so far Rayman has not been spotted. It makes more sense for them to add a Ubisoft rep than a Microsoft rep.

I am supporting his art and not his political views. JonTron is not a politician or a pundit, and if he were to go in that direction I can assure you I won't be supporting him then.

when his art is bad i can shame him however i want. the excuse is bull anyway since you can never separate art from the artist, especially not in something like a youtube video

JonTron is still one of the most consistently funny YouTubers out there, and that's after the controversy

I'm not disputing that Nintendo and Ubisoft are closer than Microsoft.

You know, I noticed while drawing him (for the icon) that Crono basically has Goku's hair with more bits.

Erdrick is basically Kid Goku with Adult Gohan's hair... and a metal headband.

Toriyama's a really good artist, but face/hair differentiation ain't his thing. Dragon Quest Swords is an example of him making a little more effort.

It still beats Mitsuru Adachi, who can't even tell his own protags apart.

Minecraft makes a lot of sense actually, I don't see why we can't have both. Microsoft is lenient with the Minecraft IP, basically letting Mojang do almost whatever.

Katalina is the one that makes little sense imo.

It is possible but then the majority of DLC will be 3rd party, which wouldn't make sense as Nintendo is choosing the characters. If we added Steve and Rayman then the DLC line up will look like this.

Namco getting a rep in itself isn't a sure thing.

It wouldn't make sense for them not to. Despite being the developer and making the most money from all the 3rd party's. Why would they develop the game and then watch every 3rd party get a second rep, but them despite developing the game? It wouldn't be fair that they put in all the work and yet get no second rep. I would be really shocked if Bandai Namco does not get a second rep.

I'm more-inclined to believe we're getting Minecraft and no new Namco character if we're getting an Ubisoft character.

Vergeben has been correct about everything he's sure about, so while he can be wrong this time I have no reason to at least think Nintendo considered Minecraft content and tried to get the rights from Mojang/Microsoft.

It'd make total sense

By virtue of developing the game they make more money than all the 3rd parties in the game
AND they get their mascot Pac-Man in the game

They don't care about what's morally fair...they're a company and are making FAT STACKS doing this game. I really doubt they're too concerned.

They did, but it's not unique.
I've personally heard it on Toon Link and there are reports of it being on Sheik as well.
