So they finally remixed the original Animal Crossing theme in Smash - cross that off the list of 'tracks that should be in Smash already but aren't for some reason'.

There's a new Fire Emblem victory theme based off of ID Purpose that sounds pretty damn nice.

As I watched the World of Light trailer, the more I think, yeah, I think it was a little too serious for its own good.

That's why I prefer this one the best. Why? The tone just fits between serious and light-hearted, and Smash is sure good between the two imo. Just watch it and you'll know what I mean.

Yeah its weird that I base my thoughts and opinion based on that one edited video that at the end of the day wouldn't matter, but I was bored and had to do something.

Okay this is absolutely a dumb reason to like this one better than the official trailer.

From what i could understand, it will be about Sea Of Thieves, and maybe i’m wrong, but also a bit about Rare in general.

It was an incredibly serious situation.

The wackiness comes in with the characters depicted. That's what makes it so weird. But since it's written so well you hardly notice.

That sucks, not very surprising though unfortunately. Considering his last game was in 2008 and Microsoft hasn't really cared for the character since. In many ways Banjo is the Geno of Microsoft. He is a highly loved character that has just sat on a shelf. Unfortunately this really hurts the chances of Banjo appearing at all in Smash Ultimate.

You gave a very limited list of characters in one very specific scenario. It doesn't mean anything, especially given the many pages of discussion surrounding Heihachi and a Tales of rep.

ahaha a little late on this but yeah, I got a convinent little vid to plug when it comes to bamco characters.

My take on it is Nintendo wanting Pokémon and digimon in the same game, that’s a yikes from me. Especially with them choosing the 5DLC characters. It’s going to be from bamcos more renown picks like heihachi or tales.

Only thing is that Banjo was faaaar bigger then Geno. Nobody really clamors for a new game starring Geno or something, but everyone and their mum who grew up during Banjo's heyday wants a new Banjo game that isn't garbage. Thenoise and grief over Banjo is so much larger then Geno you can't really compare the two

tbh i feel like the best we can hope for is for Banjo to get a Spyro/Crash-esque remaster. I've a;ready reached the acceptance stage of the franchise. I think it's dead for good at this point
