The fact that a Xbox event like this one have almost nothing realy interesting ( For me was just Kingdom Hearts )

Makes me think that they REALY want to put characters in Smash.
They need that.

The only scenario where they would "need it" is Master Chief so they could sell actual Xboxes for once.

Who misses these cool animations when choosing the character in Smash 64?

Never understood why they haven't returned in other Smash games (aside from Melee which was scrapped later on); I really wished they would bring em back in some form because It really brings the game some personality; gives characters some life to them. Likely it wouldn't be in anyway, but it could be rather neat nod to Smash 64.

I have ideas for which of the characters from later games could have animations from. I might make a list later. (Assuming most of 64's character animations were from the victory screen.)

From what I can tell through gameplay, he still has his Japanese VA.

I miss the Wiimote making funny sounds when I selected characters in Brawl.

Thats really weird considering all the other characters are getting English VA's. Im hoping that because voice acting is usually the final part of the game, maybe they just hadn't added an english voice to him yet. Im really hoping that Steve Burton will reprise his role as Cloud's VA.

I'd honestly be hyped if Mystic Quest MC appeared in anything.
Its just so dumb. MQ was the baby's first FF and him appearing again would just make me laugh.

On the Square Enix thing, I'd just say hold your horses. Smash Ultimate has added a lot from Capcom, Konami, and Namco but SE content is next to nothing. I don't even think we've seen a Final Fantasy spirit and there is no FF assist trophy (its the only guest series without one). So I'm skeptical they'd add another character from that company.

Plus, keep in mind these rumors have been around for months but the DLC selection only just ended based on Sakurai's comments. More likely the rumors might be bogus, and before people say "but somethings were right," remember that while Laura Dale and others were right about Rabbids, everything else they said was wrong.

You don't have to be sorry. I've just been lurking and I saw a few people complain and I think that's why. Just try not to bring up the character all the time. If its relevant to the conversation, sure, talk about him all day. But if people are talking about something else, its better to go with the flow of the conversation. There is a support thread and a newcomer discussion so those may be better places.
