Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

He already clarified what his deleted post was.

I can go straight to the Smash Bros. website and make a fake Fortnite character leak myself, it's Inspect Element.

The thing that kills me about everyone complaining that DLC is all going to be "advertising characters" is that almost every character in the roster serves to cross promote their own franchise. People only complain about Corrin being an "ad character" so much because they don't like having another FE character. If it was someone less controversial within community then no one would be complaining.

You could even argue retro reps serve to advertise. Remember how they released a motion controled port of Duck Hunt on the virtual console around the time Smash U was released?

Honestly if Steve, Katalina, and Jonesy are 3/5 of the characters that actually happen I do NOT want to see any public smash discussion board or social media.

The thing about Pokemon and personality is that they're a species, they don't all share one personality.

More recent Pokemon have more personality in their design but it's more meant to be like their natural behavior, like how Wolverines are violent and how Blue Whales are gentle giants. There can be calm Incineroar, there are rude Pikachu, etc.

Now the Pokemon in Smash are mostly meant to represent a specific member of the species. :ultpikachu::ultjigglypuff::ultmewtwo::ultlucario: are largely based on the anime, for example.

I was primarily discussing the main line platforming series, which is another reason the characters don't get fleshed much it would seem, because yeah once you take them out of that world?

Nintendo tends to do amazing work with them.

Like the difference been Peach in the mainline titles and Paper Peach is night and day almost.

I see this argument all the time and I'm not trying to knock you, but when you have to bring up stock ownership to tie a character/franchise to Nintendo it's not a good look.

Chairs were referencing Animal Crossing's weird Color Palette for their furniture...basically it was hinting at Isabelle, alot of us just thought it was for Skull Kid

and I'm aware that Shadow is already an AT, but im being an assist doesn't matter

Maybe they can borrow stuff from Dragalia to make Katalina, like they borrowed from the other Namco games for Pac-Man or the Zapper games for Duck Hunt.

Insulting someone's favorite character after they explain why a leak you posted-joke or not-isn't true isn't really a good look and neither is calling them a "****ing *****" that needs to "shut their mouth"
