And also, there's bound to be more Spirit representation in the full game, I fully expect the number of collectible PNGs to go over 1000.

There were about 800 trophies in Smash Wii U, so there's definitely going to be over 1000 Spirits, since they're just PNG files.

Question is, does that mean there will be 1000+ Spirit battles? Because that's where I get confused. Spirits are easier to put into the game than trophies, but Spirit battles? Those take some time to think up.

THIS. I'm really only here to feed my hype for the game. Dec 7th? Won't be seen around here again (until Smash Omega or whatever it's called). I mean, being excited to PLAY the game is why we're here, isn't it?

I'll still come here after the game is released, because I enjoy the discussion. But the discussion is because of my excitement and love for the game, not because the discussion is what I primarily care about.

I notice an alarming rate of people on forums that would defend anything that's racist or sexist just to piss off "SJWs" for whatever reason. They would rather defend bigots than defend the minorities and women that are affected and sweeping this issues under the rug. Using SJW as a derogatory term as a way to discredit them. Saying things like "we can't let the SJWs censor our video games!", or my favorite "keep your politics out of my video games!"

Look at the Youtube comments on Gamexplain's video, the responses in NintendoLife, don't get me started on VGChartz. Even this forum is guilty of this. These comments are the reason that I'm both embarrassed to be called a gamer and hate a lot of gamers.

I just want to get this out of my chest because of how common that stupid defense force is on most video game forums.

For starters, I would like to ask what horrible event ocurred for the censoring of this. (I am a mexican, btw.) Should we also ban Panchito Pistoles for dressing like that? Speedy Gonzales too? Are people from other contries banned from wearing clothes that could be associated with mexican culture?

I understand that there are historical sensitivities out there and that there are some horrible stereotypes out there but there is a lot of misconstructions about what should be and shouldnt be allowed. Where are all the people decrying about racism and negative stereotypes at when Call of Juárez the cartel came out? I find the idea of being associated with organized crime to be a lot worse than a poncho and a sombrero.

The worst part is that is that this doesnt start from the people who are represented on the topic. Its from everybody else. I am fine with censoring when the movement begins from the people directly affected by it.

I understand if you feel like people are doing this to bug SJW. Let me share you how I feel. I feel like international representation is being taken away because it might be offensive. I feel like a giant censored bar because people might find represenation of our culture offensive. Like "you cant be ofended if we act like you dont exist."

FFVII Remake is in a similar case to Kingdom Hearts 3 pre-Final Fantasy 15. Square Enix is focusing on Kingdom Hearts 3 right now, and will shift focus to FFVII Remake when its finished.

Dimentio is my favorite Mario RPG villain... although I didn't care much for his game.

I'm not a big Fawful fan but I think he objectively has a claim to being the most major character from the RPG spin-offs. No idea how he would fight though.

I still have hopes for Lloyd or a general Tales character. Vesperia HD is coming out in January, and there's still that unknown Tales Switch title that has yet to be announced if Nintendo's picking DLC based on promotions. Oh and Nintendo did advertise Tales of Symphonia in the West for the Gamecube.

This is the first time since Melee where I thinking more about playing the game than thinking about the future roster. Its weird. Do not get me wrong, there are still a few more characters that I would like to see in Smash Bros., but there is no glaring absences this time that I felt with Brawl and Smash 4. Everyone is here plus we got 11 new guys, including Ridley, K. Rool, and the Belmonts. Even the clone newcomers brings me back to 2001 when I found it strange so many of Melee's newcomers were simply clones and weird ones at that. Melee in general had a very bizarre final roster compared to what people thought was going to happen, yet in time I was very endeared with it. The 11 newcomers for Ultimate are an analog to that.

I mean, they finally got slapped in the face and allowed K. Rool to come back, along with aspects of his original design. They seem to at least care about some fan-input.

I'm glad someone else noticed this. I'm confused too. My first thought on seeing spirit battles was wondering how they were less developmentally intensive than trophies. I'm going to assume there are fewer spirits than we imagine.

I do tend to prefer more epic music because I love hearing all the instruments in a more orchestral form. That being said I do like the type of music you like also. Hmmm you never know anything is possible, I wouldn't give up hope yet. Goemon could possibly make it in Smash 6 as the next representative of Konami, so keep your hopes up .

Yes I agree thats what appeals to me from Japan as well. Lol descendant of greats, im not sure if all my ancestors were great. Im sure some were, but I would just love exploring Madrid or Barcelona. Theres a stained glass room that I really want to see, its called Kimssoja's Room of Rainbows in Crystal Palace Buen Retiro Park,Madrid Spain. I'm sweating haven't played HM in a dog's age.

Harvest Moon 64 is in the top tier of HM games alongside Friends of Mineral Town.

They really, really nailed the series in the late 90s. It had its ups and downs in the 2000s but come late 2000s/early 2010s the series was on a sad downward spiral.

It's not the feather that was the problem, it was that the feather came from a game that was arguably based off the stereotype of the "savage Indian". If it weren't for that game it was based off I doubt the controversy would have gained much traction.

main thing is that its mostly modifiers to in game content, rather than full on importing new models. the most difficult thing would be the custom ai some of them have, but, and i could definitely be wrong, i don't think "spam grab" is that difficult to code?

i don't really understand why there would be this gacha system is there weren't Lots of them. it seems built to make sure you won't be seeing the same spirits multiple times soon, which would be weird for a smaller number of them. if there is only a small number of them though, like, where did the dev time go for this game? obviously didn't go into making any new characters or adding extra content to it

With all due respect, that's why you wouldn't be a mod. The situation was not that of one person being racist and everyone else being calm. I understand the impulse to go after people who'd say that stuff, but another person yelling wouldn't have solved anything.

Perhaps you missed the part where, earlier, I was also the first person to tell him to cool it.

In any case, deescalation in the thread and infraction of the problematic member would be the way to go. Actions speak louder than words. However as a normal user, I couldn't do the latter. I assumed one of the current mods would've handled that part.
