Well, besides Bomberman, but he's seen as "Hudson" in many people's minds.

I think he is the most logical choice aside from Bomber-man. So I can definitely see it happening in Smash Bros 6 (I wonder if they'll call it Smash Infinity).

Until I can get to play on my sister's N64 on a more regular basis, I wouldn't mind having this as a substitute, especially since Crystal Shards seems to be in the list.

About the racism and that kind of thing.

I learned that doesnt worth to get enraged 'bout that, and I prefer to ignore those people that just want attention and doesnt worth to discuss with them. Life too short to get angry at close minded people, I live in a country that borders other that voted for a guy that hate my people and I prefer just to move on instead of being mad all the time he spills hate, he doesnt worth my time.

I notice an alarming rate of people on forums that would defend anything that's racist or sexist just to piss off "SJWs" for whatever reason. They would rather defend bigots than defend the minorities and women that are affected and sweeping this issues under the rug. Using SJW as a derogatory term as a way to discredit them. Saying things like "we can't let the SJWs censor our video games!", or my favorite "keep your politics out of my video games!"

Look at the Youtube comments on Gamexplain's video, the responses in NintendoLife, don't get me started on VGChartz. Even this forum is guilty of this. These comments are the reason that I'm both embarrassed to be called a gamer and hate a lot of gamers.

I just want to get this out of my chest because of how common that stupid defense force is on most video game forums.

As someone who hasn't played Metal Gear Solid 1 yet, would a REX fight even work in a game like Smash Bros? Isn't all its weaponry ranged, so in a game where most characters are up close and hitting it, that'd be kind of a problem design-wise?

So since Galleom is a design that's already been shown to work and is a mechanical being, it makes sense that he could be a Metal Gear stand-in for the Smash universe.

Technically, Metal Gear REX does have the ability to fight up close.

One of it's attacks in MGS1 is a stomp, and... stuff in MGS4...

Many of the ranged attacks it uses could be reworked to fit into the size of a Smash stage.
