Rayman or the rabbids - Nintendo loves the rabbids and rayman
Steve - promote Minecraft switch and verge said Minecraft content
Crash - promote the trilogy and probably for their return to nintendo (plus confirmed they were still picking dlc)
Gen 8 pokemon - yea gen 8 it’s coming soon it’s gonna happen choose one from the blueprints again it happened twice so far
Sylux - if Metroid prime 4 anthologist is sylux and is release date is close to one of the dlc pack release dates then to promote Metroid prime 4
Fire emblem rep - new game coming out plus Celica probably has some atvantage

Not much more I can think of tell me if I missed anything

And with any luck any of the 5 Nintendo is listen to the ballot votes so far the only one 100% confirmed from the ballot is king K rool they got surprised since they had no idea K. Rool was that popular so they are feeling guilty and is probably com8ng back to nintendo games starting with smash ultimate

Think about it.

He's gotta be:
-Nintendo chose the dlc this time
- they're practically dating Ubisoft
- Rabbids spirits were shown off but no sign of Rayman, the most requested Ubi rep
- Ubisoft is still quiet af when asked about Rayman in smash....

Only thing I feel confident in saying now is RIP Geno because we don't know if Nintendo shares Sakurai's thoughts on wanting the character in Smash.

I guess this bodes well for Edelgard, Bandanna Dee and a slew of third parties, which is basically what we were already thinking.

So yeah, I'm not sure how much this changes things.

If the NoA Twitter can acknowledge Geno and the SNES mini select SMRPG to be one of the few games to represent the system respecitively, I'm fully confident B+K and its sequel are part of the N64 mini's lineup.

I might be biased towards both characters, but Nintendo knows both games have history with their consoles and fanbase.

Sure is, but it references a time much earlier. Since then, they opted to include Cloud, not Geno.

And if we were to overlook purely fan-favourites, which I think is what will happen, I put forth that those same or very similar factors that got Cloud in over Geno will get some other SE character over him this time.

it's the preferences he doesn't need to defend them. and the number of people that can show data and evidence that roy, corrin,marth, lucina, robin, and ike play differently should not be underestimated. honestly at this point still firing off at FE is just demonstrating ignorance. the characters arent very similair and while i do find the actual choices for FE character repulsive at times (roy) it cannot be denied they are unique fighters.

I think they're only going to announce it when they have enough to show for the characters, DLC always has gameplay videos rather than CGI trailers.

Didn't the Mii Costume come with Cloud, though?

Cloud may have been in development before the ballot ended, too, since unique fighters supposedly take a year to finish.

I am expecting a DQ character or Sora, though, if Nintendo's pool of characters for Sakurai to choose from didn't include Geno.

I really don't understand why people would put Sylux as a possible newcomer. He's literally based on ONE BIG ASSUMPTION that's he's gonna be the main antagonist of Metroid Prime 4. We know nothing about that game yet he's somehow going to be relevant because Samus did a terrible job of offing the guy in Prime Hunters? That he had two cameo appearances and they're all leading up to Prime 4? What if he doesn't show up, or has a minuscule role? What then?

I remember people suggesting Sylux over Ridley like he was the next best thing to a Metroid newcomer if Ridley was never going to happen as a playable character. It's utterly baffling to me that Sylux, who has nothing but assumptions would somehow get in over Ridley. It's still baffling because he's all based on assumptions.
