Wait, he was shown as a legit boss? I only saw him in that one image where he's just next to Lumen Sage and Werewolf, and Werewolf is just a regular stage boss.King Bulblin also.
Tbf Werewolf can also appear as a boss in World of Light, we don't know. It's just that it seems odd they'd use these specific characters for the icon. Though Werewolf should be replaced with DraculaWait, he was shown as a legit boss? Wait, what the heck is that thing under King Bulbin?None but this popped upsomewhere View attachment 175454
GODDAMN USELESS *** WEREWOLF I PAY HIM SO MUCH MONEY TO TAKE OUT BELMONT
I suppose the only logical explanation then is that 5ch users are just a vocal minority of Japanese Smash/Pokemon fans.Actually, Incineroar is pretty popular in Japan...
Watched some Japanese reactions, with a couple people thanking Sakurai for including Incineroar
I'm guessing your not a fan of "Ancient Rome = automatic British accents" either?I have a serious pet peeve with "fantasy=british," especially since the "classical" English accent isn't even as old as the United States. I hope this carries forward into any further Zelda games with voice acting.
Galeem gives me some serious Safer Sephiroth vibes. You know... I keep looking at Galeem and get a sort Digimon-esque vibe from it.
If people don't get what I mean, there have been some very weird Digimon designs.
I'm assuming you never played TP. That's his mighty steed.Wait, what the heck is that thing under King Bulbin?
His sweet ride.Wait, what the heck is that thing under King Bulbin?
That is such a JRPG name holy ****. There's nothing SAFER about this dudeGaleem gives me some serious Safer Sephiroth vibes.
OOF. RIP Ken.
Good LORD
No, I meant the red and white.Wasn't werewolf a boss in Rondo of Blood?
I'm assuming you never played TP. That's his mighty steed.
I think the total list is..We've got Rathalos, Dracula, Galleom, and Galeem so far, right?
How dare you call him pointed. That's insulting! He does not have a pointy head...You are not pointless, and you may have hugs
First thing I thought of when I saw Galeem was Tabuu. Then Sephiroth. Then 02. Then Solaris... And a bit of anti-master core.Galeem gives me some serious Safer Sephiroth vibes.
Zero from Kirby was hinted?I think the total list is..
Rathalos, Dracula, Galleon (confirmed via footage), King Bulbin, Werewolf, Lumen Sage (That banner sidebar thing), Master Hand, Galeem (not confirmed, but too obvious). There's also likely Yellow Devil, Metal Face, and Dark Emporor (easy carryovers from their stage) and Zero from Kirby (Hinted at on website).
I think he means the fact that they have to indicate that Zero(Megaman) is a thing, and Pyrosphere is gone, so Zero(Metroid) may be gone as well.Zero from Kirby was hinted?
I seem to remember something I heard that the accent British people spoke with as recently as the Victorian era was closer to an American accent (I can't remember which one specifically) than any accent actual British people have nowadays.I have a serious pet peeve with "fantasy=british," especially since the "classical" English accent isn't even as old as the United States. I hope this carries forward into any further Zelda games with voice acting.
Ah... so it's the arrival of JENOVA to the World of Smash, I see.Galeem gives me some serious Safer Sephiroth vibes.
Sorta. The AT for Zero from Mega Man X is referred to as "Zero (Megaman)". There wouldn't be a point to the distinction if there was only one Zero present, so that means another Zero in the game, likely the Kirby one.Zero from Kirby was hinted?
It's likely a mistranslation. It's probably supposed to be "Seraph" or something like that. That is such a JRPG name holy ****. There's nothing SAFER about this dude
lol okay, okay, you got me thereHow dare you call him pointed. That's insulting! He does not have a pointy head...
I'm pointless. And I like it that way.
First thing I thought of when I saw Galeem was Tabuu. Then Sephiroth. Then 02. Then Solaris... And a bit of anti-master core.
This is great news, Sakurai acknowledging more modern Kirby music . This is what I wanted since unfortunately we didn't get a Kirby stage for base game. I hope we get Moonstruck Blossom and Star Dream as well, imagine having that while playing in the Fountain of Dreams.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5aU5zdWTW8
Look at the top left of the screen when the match starts, it clearly shows CROWNED meaning Sakurai DOES listen to us about this
And then it turns out to be Tabuu again and all of your tinfoil was wasted. There's also the fact that Zero2 and Galeem are pretty damn similar(Both angelic bols)
And the mode's name in reverse Japanese is literally Kirby of the Stars.
Zero being the final boss in some sort of crazy Sakurai-written fanfic kind of makes sense.
But what if Tabuu........was also Zero. And then it turns out to be Tabuu again and all of your tinfoil was wasted.
But what if Tabuu........was also Zero.
I'll do you one better. But what if Tabuu........was also Zero.
Gladion's theme is hype butDon't think it's been brought up yet, but Gladion's Battle Theme is confirmed!

Well...That is such a JRPG name holy ****. There's nothing SAFER about this dude
****, 'd.It's likely a mistranslation. It's probably supposed to be "Seraph" or something like that.
Final Fantasy Wiki said:Sepher (סֶפֶר) is Hebrew for "book".
Səphīrōth (סְפִירוֹת, medieval Hebrew form of Sephirot; also spelled Sefirot), is a plural noun in Hebrew; the singular is Sephirah (also spelled Sefira). The Sephiroth are described in the Kabbalah as the manifestations of God that allow him to manifest in the physical and metaphysical universes. Sephiroth also means "counting" (of numbers).
The boss's name as written in Japanese is "セーファ・セフィロス", or "Sēfa Sefirosu"; "safer" can also be transliterated as "sefer", "sapher", and "sepher". Thus, Safer Sephiroth (Sefer Sfirot) translates to "Book of Numerations" likely referring to the 10 Kabbalistic Sefirot, the ten aspects of creation according to Jewish Mysticism.
unless you're like me and love looking up spoilers pffThis is exactly why I go into lockdown mode whenever a big new game comes out. Don't read anything, don't watch anything, don't look it up. Just play the game and see for yourself.
I hope not: for an ultimate crossover it wouldn't be great if the big bad was specific to one series. Giga Bowser was cool and all, but Tabuu at least didn't feel like he was giving one series special favour. There's also the fact that Zero2 and Galeem are pretty damn similar(Both angelic bols)

Yeah someone was talking about how they freaked out over the Bowsette fadHuh?
Where did this come from?
Were people talking about Bowsette?
You know... I keep looking at Galeem and get a sort Digimon-esque vibe from it.
If people don't get what I mean, there have been some very weird Digimon designs.
Yeah I don't know how to feel about that one.Gladion's theme is hype but
Kass's Theme?? oof
I heard somewhere about Rayquaza too.I think the total list is..

It’s a misspelling of Sefer, which is from Jewish kabbalah as is the word “Sephirot” from which he is named. It's likely a mistranslation. It's probably supposed to be "Seraph" or something like that.
