youre right, now I regret adding that. But I did cringe reading that a little because I knew someone would come out and say that as a way to own people who aren't trusting the insiders on Ultimate.

Well that isn't my point. I'm saying he himself has said he knows of at least 4 newcomers, so only having "a" newcomer trailer in the smash direct must refer to AT LEAST one trailer or else he's contradicting himself.

Personally? I'm gonna go for a swerve on the whole "Gruntilda as a boss" thing and would say/predict that we'd get her as a boss. But you fight her while she's in THIS bad boy. The ol' Hag 1. It would help the whole "big enemies are usually boss fights" pattern we see.

Eggplant Wizard. Put him to the opening and say he's the killer of Pit's parents in the guidebook, so we can have another big fan favorite.
Count me in on that single player hype! Brawl was also my favorite--For solo play in Smash, it cannot be beaten. I have high hopes for Spirits, indeed.
You know, this is an excellent point. Isabelle and even Duck Hunt could be added to that list as well. And Villager was worked into the reveal video for 4 at large. It does seem like the cinematic masterpieces of trailers that are Simon's or Mega Man's are definitely not the standard.
Dr.Eggman and Medusa or Hades from Kid Icarus
Monster Musume. An ultra fanservice show about literal monster girls and a guy whose got a harem of 'em. Centaurs? We got 'em. Snakes? Well, there ya go. List goes on.

The adult design IS the modern redesign. They don't use the kiddier NES design anymore because the character isn't actually a kid.

By what little I've seen of my Funimation account, I think most anime is NSFW if it was published in the last eight years.
Marx, for one. If he's not a character, he's GOT to be a boss. If I were to choose someone else from Kirby, though...Magolor, Sectonia, Dark Matter...there's a ton of great bosses from Kirby alone.
Oh yeah, I forgot about this one! Easily the most insane boss fight I've seen in a long time.
Don’t worry Ridley is a boss playable charcter and even assist.
