I got 62 which makes my main Corrin. Not sure how I feel about that.

I mean he (yes, I prefer male Corrin) can be fun but he’s nothing really special to me but that’s my opinion.

I feel so possessive of him that I can't stand the fact that someone might be better at him than me. I don't plan on going to IRL tournaments all that much, so I'm going to have to rely on the word spreading, enough so that my name gets mentioned when speculation of the best Robin players arises.

What about you guys? Do you guys have any competitive goals? Or do you just want to have fun with the game?

A long term plan on giving the game support...and more third party besides sega, namco, and capcom.

If Geno does make it into Ultimate, I want an Event match featuring him, Mario, Bowser and Peach to reference Super Mario RPG. It would also be really great if it could feature a battle theme from the same game for that battle (this is the one I'm thinking would fit most):

Whether original or remixed, I'd be happy with it either way. Might as well take the fanservice up to 11 if Geno does make it into the roster!

But they did it solely to promote the MCU which is a different situation from Sora appearing in Smash

Only problem with that is the MCU already being the biggest movie franchise of all time (multiple movies and shows can do that) and there was no point in promoting only the MCU characters because of such a high standard they already have. That’s what killed the Marvel representation in MvCI and made Lego Marvel 2 being a sequel pointless without the X-Men/Fantastic Four. Things will hopefully change now that they’ll be back

Yet, they would do a better job with the Fantastic Four than freaking Fox.

Seriously, most of the recent Fox movies aren't that good besides some exceptions.

And what about the amount of people that dislike the new Simpsons episodes?

Marvel will definitely treat the Fantastic Four better, and other than Deadpool, Logan, and I suppose Dragon Ball...no good movies...they have some good shows though

I've been thinking about the potential future Ballot. Last time we eventually found out that a lot of the Ballot winners were reserved for Ultimate (like K. Rool) but I strongly believe that if we have another Ballot that it will most likely result in multiple fighters. Why? Because unlike the Wii U, the Switch is not a sinking ship where you'll want to carry your goods to another ship.

Either way, since it's not likely we'll be getting another Smash for many years I suggest we all be extremely wise about our ballot votes this time around. Be very careful and campaign for the right person.

I see a lot of people who suppport an "ARMS rep" but most of them can't agree which one they want. Well get it together ARMS fans! If you want a character in you all will have to agree on someone and then vote for him/her. You can't just write "ARMS rep" on the ballot. There is no way they will take that seriously.

I know which ARMS character I'm supporting, and it's Dr. Coyle.

That aside, I will have to try to vote on more than one computer this time.

I don't currently plan on trying to be competitive with the game, but that could always change depending on how much I get into it. So far, my main goal is to be at the very least competent with Inklings, and beat all of the single player modes with them on the hardest difficulty settings possible. Another goal I have is to try and main a heavy weight this game, as it's something I've always wanted to try in Smash but just haven't gotten around to doing yet.

I might be missing something (I went to sleep later than usual last night so I’m a bit tired) but I actually like dragons and the concept of Corrin being able to transform into one is neat but I wish it was utilized more in his Smash moveset.

It's not the songs he's uploading or the fact he's uploading them.

It's the fact he has such clean rips of them that would be impossible to obtain from editing the audio from all the footage we've gotten of ultimate in game.
"Where is he getting the clean audio rips? How?" is the question we're asking. Not, "Why is he uploading these clean audio rips?"

I just feel like since there’s no way to get a number less than 4, as someone born on New Year’s Day in the year 2000 gets 4, and a lot of people main any of the original cast of characters, this can’t really work.

I'm probably not going to be super competitive, but I do want to give online a try with Ultimate as I wasn't confident in my internet connection with Smash Wii U. I mostly want to explore every facet of Ultimate though, and just generally have fun with it.

I would hope to be able to play at least some of you guys here, as I don't have any people IRL that are interested in playing Smash. I really just want to be part of a thriving Smash community this time around with Ultimate more than anything else.
