Ignoring your blasphemous second statement, what made you think it'd be Incineroar in a Decidueye world?

Nothing special. Just saw the usual things.

He's the one being pushed in the anime, Ash is probably getting one. His concept art is the one with Ash in it. He's much more popular in Japan than Decidueye. etc. etc.

And I also found it weird that people thought Decidueye would be great because he'd be the first archer exclusive character in Smash, when Pit - who was an archer exclusive character - was changed to get in smash so he could do more than just be an archer.

I wouldn’t call KOS-MOS a pipedream, remember Namco is co-developing Ultimate and they love putting her in crossovers, not to mention Xeno’s newfound popularity.

Frankly I’m still betting on a new Namco rep before release, hoping to god it’s KOS-MOS but could also see Lloyd making the cut as I think he’s cool. It’s really weird (to me anyway) that the co-developer only has one rep still.

Wouldn't that be something if we got KOS-MOS, Elma, and Rex & Pyra as the ultimate Xenoblade character content.

I didn't think he would even be considered, verg allowed me to actually discuss Incineroar here.

I pretty much sympathize with Reggie when it comes to leaks. The element of surprise is worth 10x more than someone having their time in the limelight and I wish leakers would would realize that.

But to harass them over a video game? That's ****ing gross.

SmashFaqs is pretty bad altogether. There are some cool users, but a lot of them are just mean or creepy. I pretty much only go there to argue if I'm feeling edgy that day.

It feels like a slog now but when we're playing the game we'll look back and laugh.

It would be nice, but then again, there really isn't that much time left before Ultimate releases anyway.

I've been around for much longer droughts than this and I can always just do something else to fill my time, be it something more important or just something recreational like watching a show I like, reading a good book, actually playing a video game rather than continuing to discuss one, etc. So in the grand scheme of things, leaks and rumors neither interest nor bother me very much anymore. I don't have to stay around for discussions that don't pique my interest, whatever the reason(s) for it may be.

More than anything else at this point, I'd still just like to see who the remaining newcomers are. I'm not 100% sold on Vergeben's leak (it could possibly be outdated, as was the case with Gematsu, or we could still get at least one more newcomer beyond the ones he's mentioned, as he didn't give any info stating that K. Rool was playable).
