I'll just say **** Link system. I've been Someone playing Synchron deck and had tons of fun with the meme Junk Warrior OTK and how fast the deck was.
Then Link monsters happened slowing them down into hell.
Then Level-Eater got hit.
Then Dandylion.
Like smfh.
They released those weird monsters to "speed up" Synchro but as long as you're limited in Space, ****'s too hard and you will hit a wall 3/4 of the time.
Then I just gave up at Yu-Gi-Oh because I can't play the card I like

Yeah, and what's unfortunate is prior to LGPE announcement, I was hoping for some Pokemon Go integration so that I could perhaps get all my Gen 1 mons in Gen 8. I got my wish more than I could have imagined... and I completely regretted it. A $60-$110 remake of a $30 game with less features, and the only thing that was added is from a free phone game. I wish someone could explain how that makes sense--at all.

But to bring it back to Smash, as I've said before, compare this to Ultimate--70+ characters, 100+ stages, 800+ music tracks. It's over $100 of value, yet Sakurai isn't making you buy peripherals/other games to get the full experience--just the $60 standard price.

I don't think the game is bad butUsum was such a missed opportunity. Sun/moon introduced the ultrabeasts and alt dimension schtick. If they were a bit a braver with storytelling, you would get Poipole as your starter this time around and have a bigger focus on the alt dimensions and ultrabeasts. Have actual changes that affected the world and characters around them. Also Alolan pokemon should have been much more expanded

Considering how much ultimate has already done for us, regardless of how much I expect it I'm gonna be disappointed when people get angry over the last direct either over not being what they expected or not what they wanted

Oh yeah definitely. The gameplay was a slow burn while the final reveal was a quick explosive one.
If you didn't like the roster, you got mad and cooled off and accepted it.

Now if you didn't like the gameplay, you'd find out on your own... and you had to deal with it for years and really let that hate fester and grow inside you as you notice more and more flaws, until finally... it explodes... LIVE ON STREAM ON THE WORLD STAGE. **** the Bayo-meta, seriously.
Also rage.
And the recoveries.
And the weak hits.

Why was there an issue with the gameplay?

When the invitational aired and people realised it was more a Brawl than Melee or a Brawl-Melee hybrid, the boards basically erupted in what was possibly the worst display of chimpanzees flinging their feacal matter at each other.

It wasn't even acceptable to just say something wasn't for you. Oh no, people were compelled to vent how much vitriol gameplay could fill you with. Users wanted and hoped for competitive scenes to die off quickly for whatever twisted vindication they sought.

No no, you see, you have to get really good at the game to earn a mode that you'll already be too good for by the time you unlock it. That's how things work.

I didn't even bother picking up USUM. I saw it for what it was the second it was announced.

Don't worry they actually somehow managed to make the main game worse.

...And I fell for it. I enjoyed SM's story and really expected USUM's to be a better, more heavily expanded version of it with a different climax. Poor naive Zachmac.

Well here's the thing.
Scyther's a cool bug-man with blades for hands.

But Scizor's a essentially mecha disguised as a bug pokemon.
It can punch faster than the human eye can see and can shoot laser beams from its hands while summoning ethereal ghost swords.

How can any Pokemon beat that?

Well the badass adorable Breloom can with its cute stubby and stechable arms, and it’s odd ability to throw thunder punches for days. The OG bros Gyarados, Kabutops, and especially Cloyster are cool as hell too. Although I get why people dislike it, Rhyperior will always be that dude to me.

Honestly? I think something like Stunfisk with no real potential for an interesting moveset would be the worst.

Nothing against it, but something like Voltorb which would hardly be able to do anything because it has no limbs. Even then, Sakurai would possibly be able to throw something together with Voltorb using electromagnetism for grabs. It just wouldn't be very interesting to look at.

So is Incineroar just a hand to avoid making a full render or to to be nice and not spoil the full render?

Also, if Rainbow Road is back, I have to wonder why it wasn't shown back in August.

Something's a big red ****ing flag to me about this leak.

It says 72 characters.

But it also says 8 Echoes.


We have 70 characters as is already counting Miis and Pokemon Trainer as 1.


Yet it shows Incineroar and says we're going to get 8 Echoes, when we only know 6.

72 =/= 73.

Math doesn't add up, Chief.
