Personally I feel that Isolde is going to be hit soon much like X Saber Invoker was.

Pepperidge Farm remembers.Remember when this was the Smash discussion thread
How has the Pokemon Company not added a damn dolphin Pokemon to the series yet.All I can say about this Pokémon discussion is this: at least nobody here is trashing the new Pokémon themselves and spouting nonsense such as “Gamefreak is running out of ideas for Pokémon.” There’s still so many ideas they potentially have for new Pokémon, and I can think of a good number of animals yet to be used as Pokémon that’d be cool to see: Gorilla (Oranguru is an Orangutan), Hammerhead Shark, Swordfish, Stegosaurus, Hummingbird, Dung Beetle, and Platypus.
Dude, to make that game was hard.
Sure it was not a new idea, but thinking of all of those Ultra Beasts, new worlds, tons of different stories and all of that.
Honestly the game was not lazy. Also sure a lot of cutscenes but those cutscenes took effort.
They can not just copy SM and add things. They probably had to start from scratch.
You mean Rainbow Rocket and the Ultra Recon Squad, two underdeveloped stories that ultimately serve little purpose?Tons of different stories
You mean the 5 they came up with?all of those Ultra Beasts
You mean the less than 10 new maps they had to work on?new worlds
...Do you understand how game design works? They can not just copy SM and add things. They probably had to start from scratch.
I'd take X and Y any day of the week over Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.Pokémon is fun to talk about. Also Gen 7 > Gen 6. TRUTH RIGHT HERE.
Hah, good one.Well to be fair, one of the starters was a pig.
If we're lucky we'll get fossil Pokemon next year, I really hope one of them is a Raptor. How has the Pokemon Company not added a damn dolphin Pokemon to the series yet.
Other than that I really want a velociraptor.
No.They probably had to start from scratch.
I'd like to see more dinosaurs in Pokemon too...Other than that I really want a velociraptor.
You really must be tired, because you're clearly referring to Infernape!Hah, good one.
I get the feeling that Game Freak wanted to make the entire Journey to the West party over several Generations.
Incineroar is Sun Wukong (obviously), Emboar is Zhu Bajie. We probably would have gotten a Water starter based on Sha Wujing (presumably, a Kappa) if they hadn't stopped. God knows what they would have done for the monk.
Anyway, I am very tired... so...
I like how it took Pokemon around 16 years and 6 generations to add a T-Rex Pokemon, one of the most popular dinos. Tyrantrum is such a boss.I'd like to see more dinosaurs in Pokemon too...
I forgot about there still being no dolphin Pokémon yet. Also Rock/Electric Velociraptor with lightning bolt shaped streaks/markings and Rock/Grass Stegosaurus with leaf plates as fossil Pokémon, anyone? How has the Pokemon Company not added a damn dolphin Pokemon to the series yet.
Other than that I really want a velociraptor.
...****.You really must be tired, because you're clearly referring to Infernape!
Anyway G'night!
Ooh, that's an idea.I forgot about there still being no dolphin Pokémon yet. Also Rock/Electric Velociraptor with lightning bolt shaped streaks/markings and Rock/Grass Stegosaurus with leaf plates as fossil Pokémon, anyone?
Oh, I never completed those two stories. I mean, at least you get to fight people with Legendary Pokemon. I do prefer HGSS, DPP and BWB2W2's stories over USUM, but I think USUM is better than X and Y. At least USUM was a challenge. Even if X and Y looked nice. So did USUM.
You mean Rainbow Rocket and the Ultra Recon Squad, two underdeveloped stories that ultimately serve little purpose?

I am not a game developer, and try not to be too harsh.No.
That's...
That's stupid.
Trying to go over how stupid that would be would take me at least an hour and several paragraphs to explain...
so I'm not going to.
Maybe they were trying to not be like Digimon, which is like 40% dinosaursI like how it took Pokemon around 16 years and 6 generations to add a T-Rex Pokemon, one of the most popular dinos. Tyrantrum is such a boss.
Did you mean Infernape?Hah, good one.

EDIT: I'm a fraud Noipoi 'd me.Bulbapedia said:Infernape is based on a monkey. The gold elements in its design as well as its Japanese name are most likely linked to Son Goku, the Japanese interpretation of the character Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong is the main character in the Chinese epic Journey to the West and is a monkey with powerful abilities. It is also similar to the Vanara, a race of ape-like humanoids in the Hindu epic Ramayana, specifically Hanuman who was granted immunity to fire. Hanuman is also believed to have influenced Sun Wukong. It is most likely based on Monkey Kung Fu.
Hey man, Scizor is eternally running with scissors. He breaks all the rules! You can't get any cooler then that!Everyone seems to be forgetting that we already have a velociraptor and that its one of the coolest mons ever created;
Well it's like 1/2 velociraptor at any rate. Unlike Scizor. I will always be salty that Scyther's will forever be overshadowed by a bipedal lobster or whatever that thing is supposed to be.
Scyther does look really cool, but Scizor is awesome.Everyone seems to be forgetting that we already have a velociraptor and that its one of the coolest mons ever created;

None of those are legitimate counterarguments though.Oh, I never completed those two stories. I mean, at least you get to fight people with Legendary Pokemon. I do not love USUM to death, but it is not a horrible 0/10 game. I think it is pretty good.
Also, one thing they did good was they made Shiny hunting for Legendaries fun.
I mean, the maps still look pretty good at least.
I knew they kept the 3DS designs for the Pokemon.
I am not a game developer, and try not to be too harsh.
Well here's the thing.Everyone seems to be forgetting that we already have a velociraptor and that its one of the coolest mons ever created;
Well it's like 1/2 velociraptor at any rate. Unlike Scizor. I will always be salty that Scyther's will forever be overshadowed by a bipedal lobster or whatever that thing is supposed to be.
Good taste.Well here's the thing.
Scyther's a cool bug-man with blades for hands.
But Scizor's a essentially mecha disguised as a bug pokemon.
It can punch faster than the human eye can see and can shoot laser beams from its hands while summoning ethereal ghost swords.
How can any Pokemon beat that?
I feel.... sad.None of those are legitimate counterarguments though.
Every Pokémon game makes the shiny hunting and competitive breeding/training easier because it's the one bone they throw to the competitive fanbase in the hopes that they'll shut up.
None of the new maps are all that great, unless you like a dark city that you visit once, or generic area #1-5 (also known as the Ultra Realm or whatever the **** they called it)
And if you're going to speak about game development, at least be semi-knowledgable about it. If you don't know at least the basics of a topic, it's best not to talk about it.
Ultimately, it comes down to your opinion though, so there's really no point in this discussion.
Ultra Sun and Moon are the second worst games in the franchise, topped only by Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee. Both show a problem with modern day Game Freak which is that they are continually catering to the lowest common denominator and ignoring the fanbase that they've built up over the last 20 years.
Generation 8 better be good, because it's their last chance for me.
Will he evolve into Batman?I'm doing a Noibat solo run right now, poor little guy is struggling a bit.
Heh. Noi bat... Noi poi.I'm doing a Noibat solo run right now, poor little guy is struggling a bit.
Absolutely. Noivern is my favorite Pokemon. Will he evolve into Batman?
That's where my name comes from.Heh. Noi bat... Noi poi.
Ok that's when I know that I need sleep.
So they're worse than Sun and Moon?Ultra Sun and Moon are the second worst games in the franchise, topped only by Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee. The worst part is people are gonna eat it up.Oh and Let's go is also a joke and truly is a shame to look at. First time I see a game removing almost half of it's mechanic. And call it a "remake"
The story of Sun and Moon was one of it's strong suits. So they're worse than Sun and Moon?
Why's that? You'd think adding more stuff would make the game better.
I have Ultra Moon but haven't been bothered to get far into the game at all. I was very mixed on Moon and so haven't felt any motivation to progress further in Ultra.
Excellent, now I look like a fool lmao. That's where my name comes from.
Level Eater deserved what he had coming, and I dance on that bug's grave.Whoa, I missed a lot. Also did I walk into the social thread?
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh
I'll just say **** Link system. I've been Someone playing Synchron deck and had tons of fun with the meme Junk Warrior OTK and how fast the deck was.
Then Link monsters happened slowing them down into hell.
Then Level-Eater got hit.
Then Dandylion.
Like smfh.
They released those weird monsters to "speed up" Synchro but as long as you're limited in Space, ****'s too hard and you will hit a wall 3/4 of the time.
Then I just gave up at Yu-Gi-Oh because I can't play the card I like
Re: Pokemon
Hahaha lmao at the people saying that US/UM ain't lazy, that **** is the biggest cashgrab ever and taint the "third version are much better!" Logic.
Also, don't you dare compare it to B/W2 and Platinium.
Oh and Let's go is also a joke and truly is a shame to look at. First time I see a game removing almost half of it's mechanic. And call it a "remake"
Not liking the game doesn't equate to negativity, nor does expressing any opinions about them. That's misconstruing the meaning and making things out to be worse than they actually are.Yes, I do think HGSS, DPP and B2/W2 are all a lot better than USUM, but USUM is not a terrible game.
So much hate. The negativity in here hurts my soul.
Here is my reaction for Let's Go: I do not love it, but it looks interesting.
No one thinks it’s a terrible game, since it’s the exact same thing as S&M, which wasn’t a terrible game.Yes, I do think HGSS, DPP and B2/W2 are all a lot better than USUM, but USUM is not a terrible game.
