And completely take a chunk of Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee's steam away? No way. That entire month is nothing but Pokemon and big hitting 3rd parties, it's best that they only release the Limited Switch bundle and after a few games and Pokemon's release, just ramp up to Ultimate.

That's reassuring. No one in my friend group plays Smash, so the AI's all I got.

Believe it or not, People actually believed this leak, just because it featured Ridley, Who was a highly requested character at that time.
Looking back on it now, it looks painfully fake. But of course, because it featured Ridley, people took it as gospel....
And let's just say they were in for a rude awakening
So Remember, Hype responsibly...
Just because Sakurai Posts an Image that looks like Golden Sun, or the color of chairs match Skull Kid, Doesn't mean it's evidence...
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just telling you guys to heed with caution...

Oh my God, it has been eons since the last time I saw that....thing. Brings shivers down my spine, still. But I don't remember ever believing it because of how literally ****ty it looked. I also do not remember if this was before or after I was done with Smash4 speculation.

At least it's a leaker doing some research. They bothered to learn when the most likely time for Wii Fit Trainer to be shown off was, and went with it. If they did the full research, they'd known that Zeraora cannot be an echo of anyone, because it has the wrong proportions. Shot themselves in the foot. Besides something that isn't even hard to guess in the long run(if you bother to do research before making a leak, anyway).

The leak had way more research than most, at the very least.

I really don't think any research was done guys. Go on 4chan or fireden and you will see countless "leaks" like that one, all guessing any of the remaining 20 something characters left on the blog and posting their own leak. All it takes is to just guess to be right and boom people read it. Its literally a probability question

Skull Kid's a boss.
Eggman's a boss.
Mama Luigi's a boss.
Cooking Mama, Paper Mario, Isaac, and Sans are dlc.
The new fighting team is fighting Waluigi team.
Master Hand and Crazy Hand are joined by a new boss, Neutral Foot.
Sakurai himself is the final dlc fighter, along with Reggie as his echo.
The new mode is called Waluigi time, where you sit with Waluigi by the fire and he regales you with stories from his sad, sad childhood.

The Big House is over, Hungrybox beat Plup at Grand Finals while Mang0 placed 3rd.

There is no annoucement at all. We gotta wait throughout this week. It is no suprise imo.

Also, pretty annoyed that a couple people in chat expect some sort of reveal during the tournament even though it will never gonna happen. They always yelled about "where is the direct?" and it is upsetting that people are expecting that.

I just think it'd be weird when he's fighter-sized (so it could be a Metal Mario, Shadowbug Bowser, etc. situation) and you never fought him in MM to begin with.

Plus I feel like it was never brought up until LeakyPandy said it; I don't remember seeing it until they popped up.

edit: plus, while Skull Kid is iconic due to the mask being iconic (at least to fans of the game, I'd assume, as he's the personality while the mask isn't), there are a lot of bosses they could choose from that I feel would make more sense.

I don’t know what type of Smash fans are more annoying.

The ones who make meaningless conspiracy theories towards newcomers or the ones who expect a reveal in literally any video game related event or showcase.

Can we stop with the "huehue you stupid people expecting an announcement at a Smash tournament"? Look we get it, nothing happened. But that doesn't give anybody an excuse to place themselves on a pedestal and look down on people who had faith because of the circumstances lining up.
