Speaking of that, I could see them announcing a Smash direct at the end of it, not unlike EVO. But I doubt we'd get anything beyond that, if even that.Oh, I know, it was just a thought that popped in my head and I thought it'd be better to edit my post rather than make a new one. It was just speculation on my part, wasn't directing anything at you.
They're not "small" games regardless. They don't lack a lot of content and are still rather big overall.

They seem pretty small, mate. At least smaller than other recent Pokemon games in everything except scale. Comparing it to BOTW was a little unfair i'll admit, but can you honestly tell me these games look like they'll be huge? Kanto is the exact same it's been for 20 years, the only difference is the fact that it's in 3D. Even the human models are smaller than Sun and Moon's. I guarantee you there will be no post-game content aside from Mewtwo. These are games you play once and then put them away, and to me that's a small game.

I suspect they ran into licensing issues in regards to the fact that most earlier titles were made by Hudson Soft. Now that they're assimilated into Konami, there shouldn't be much to stop any of it to get into Smash now, in theory.

Huh, that's actually a pretty interesting question. Honestly, I'd have to pick Rosalina, especially since she seems to have an appreciation for music and is already an excellent storyteller. The fact that she can play the guitar is a plus in my book.

Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby were remakes too and didn't get a Direct, did they? I honestly can't remember. If they did, then maybe these ones will.
Hmm, good point. Though they're conventional remakes, so who knows. I'm not expecting one, but I doubt in the "lack of content" factor.
I dunno. I'm sure they'll be fine, and I don't even hate these games really. I just get frustrated because whenever I tell someone i'm not exactly excited I get crapped on like i'm not a real Pokemon fan because I don't like ONE game. I shouldn't have started an argument with you, i'm sorry.

Meanwhile, the twins from FE Warriors will remain in obscurity, alone and unloved. I wonder if they're stuck in a similar situation to Geno and must require Koei Tecmo's approval before being used.
I don't think FE will get another unique newcomer. There is already to many FE characters and unlike Corrin Edelgard isn't unique enough to justify her inclusion.
Well some people say no more Fire Emblem characters and these same people are requesting for Elegard from Three houses, i'd say we may get another FE character

They can add any other character in gaming I'd rather them not. Other series like Zelda and Kirby should be getting newcomers over it.
He did get in because he is unique. Sakurai thought there were too many FE character BEFORE CORRIN but because of his unique dragon powers he was chosen to be the advertisement. Elgard is just a boring axe user who wouldn't be all that different to Ike.
Yes he was. That is why Sakurai added him in the first place. If it wasn’t for his shapeshifting or Intelligent Systems showing Corrin to him in the first place, he most likely would’ve added Elma.

Mewtwo’s gone. I’ve done without him in Brawl and when Four launched. It sucks and he’ll be missed, but there now would be an amoral psychic monster that considers me a friend.
Just wait and see, because she'll be promoted as new DLC character before her game comes out. this will be same case with Roy and Corrin, mark my word on this one.

Elgard isn't even the main character of her game though.
