General consensus last I checked was it's real. No major developments have happened either way. If it's fake though, the guy who made it really did his homework.

I settled on TeamMightBeReal because I figured nothing was definite when it came to this stuff, but I'm just gonna go ahead and say it's definitely real.

It was probably because she would've been a bit too similar to Bayonetta. Elma uses dual wield guns like her and sliding slinger is very similar to her side b.

Looks real to me. No one debunked that image yet, so the general consensus is that it could be a real leak.

The leak is considered to real by many.

So much, that it’s not even brought up anymore, the image had a lot of things that can’t be easily fabricated, a repeat of sorts of the ESRB Leak.

Also, since Pichu’s renders seems a bit outdated, it’s possible that this was an earlier build of the game, and thus a more unpolished earlier build of Ken. Hopefully.

I will say, though, that if Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude are all lords and not just Ryoma/Xander-styled plot-important prepromotes, based on the gameplay we saw Edelgard may be a weird conglomerate of the game's lord AND the game's Jagen.

That's just neat to me.

I... she just wouldn’t be... there’s so many differences between her and Bayonetta’s moveset potential and who they are.

I’m not the man himself, sure, but their potential moveset and character themselves are VERY different. Elma also wields dual blades, not to mention she would use her guns a lot differently than Bayonetta would.

Exactly. Ken's model looks pretty much the same from his smash 4 trophy, wich is very simplistic. It might indeed have received some upgrades for the final version of the game.

I do think it is possible for a Street Fighter AT to appear, and Guile does feel the most likely between him and Chun-Li (I'd also rather have her playable personally, as she's been my go-to in Street Fighter from the beginning). There are other characters that could work like M. Bison with Psycho Crusher or Akuma performing a Raging Demon finisher like @Tougon mentioned, among others.

I'd say I'm around 75% confident that we will have one in Ultimate, though who it could be in the end is tougher to say in my opinion.

He'd taunt and force everyone in his radius to taunt too. Like the sleep effect puff and that one pokemon do it just farces them to taunt.

Well, if Dan got in as an AT, he'd have to have his Legendary Taunt Super like in Street Fighter Alpha 3.

If he didn't have this, I would honestly be disappointed.

he would probably have elements from all of the games. though i'm curious which franchise he would rep. i know that he originated from fatal fury but kof is where most of his popularity and recognizability come from. maybe he would be the first character to rep multiple franchises?

I thnk his '13 style is closest to what is considered his modern appearance, and I could totally see him entering Smash with it. His Garou: MotW look is quite unique for him though, and I think it would make for an awesome alternate costume for him.

Though Fatal Fury is where he originates from, he's one of the primary faces of the King of Fighters franchise now, so I could see him having the gameplay from that series more than any other. He would make for a great counterpart to Ken as well, considering they've been friendly rivals in the Capcom vs. SNK games, where they even share a special intro before they fight:

On this thought, I'd really love if other fighters in Ultimate shared special openings with each other, as unlikely as that is to happen. That would be really awesome if it could be done though, and would help bring out each character's personality more outside of a potential story mode.

His best chance is DLC honestly especially if Disney wants to cut a deal with Nintendo in them using Sora.

That would depend on if Nintendo would let them use Mario for Wreck it Ralph. Though it seems theyre using mostly their own properties from the trailers i seen.

in the original itd be 75%, because this new one is internet themed so the game stuff might not even be a thing. idk i havent seen it yet, but i know in the original Mario was PLANNED to be in but nintendo asked too much for the license would have gone WAY out of budget.

It all depends~ if the Square Characters is base game, it's Geno at 70%
If it's DLC it's Either Sora or DQ rep
