Dual wielding is more of a Navarre trait which she's a clone of in Warriors.

In reality, I want her to fight more like someone like Vergil from Devil May Cry.

The "ette" comes from Toadette though. That's what I don't understand about this meme. Her name wouldn't be Bowsette. It'd be Peachser. And also...how did people jump the gun to think that the crown also changes gender?!

Well, I mean, the crown literally changes the user, as far as we know, into a Peach-version of themselves, and Peach is female, so it makes sense.
Also, it's the internet, it's really not that surprising.

The reason for the whole "-ette" thing, is most likely because it rolls off the tongue better than "peach-"
It was probably a mistake at first, but honestly, it just sounds better, IMO.

I'm not saying I want my most wanted characters to be top tier.

Buuuuuuuuut I'm also not saying it wouldn't be satisfying to finally main a character that's fast enough to punch Sonic in the face.

Even of she's sort of a Navarre clone in Warriors (its complicated since she was in base roster) I still think it was a brilliant move to make her dual weild. She's got two signature swords so I think it's neat that she was able to use both at once.

Sure, but she only uses it occassionally and she has to discard her signature iaijutsu to use that style.

Plus, plenty of FE Lords have 2 signature weapons, but all of them pick the better one most of the time. (except Leif who sticks with the Light Brand)

Really? I thought the new thick smoke effects were great being more cartoony.

My only issue is that I wish they would keep it as plain white/grey instead of depending on a player’s color, an effect I don’t like and hated in Smash 4.

IMO the smoke gets WAAAAAY too overbearing at times. Like, I can barely discern half of what's happening in the Chrom and Lucina vs Dark Samus and Ridley gameplay video because of it...and that makes me sad.

It's really not a big deal when you actually play it. To be quite honest I only remember it's even a thing when discussions like this happen.

Hitmonchan as an echo of Little Mac would work surprisingly well. A few edits would be necessary, but not many.

They could make it so each Smash attack would be Fire Punch, Thunder Punch and Ice Punch.

He's always described as being deceptively fast because of his blessed armor, so I don't think speed is the issue, it's in character for him to look unnatural in that regard. There are a lot of other issues though, like how much his armor would clip with Ike's animations, or several moves that just don't fit him (Aether, Quick Draw, Jabs, etc), and you'd at least expect him to be a proper heavy weight too.

If he were to happen he'd fit better as a semi-clone, although that's obviously not very likely, which is unfortunate as he could be a really cool character in that way. I would be extremely happy if they just said **** it and made him an echo anyway, I just don't see it happening.

The distinct smoke trails are actually really useful when playing competitively to gauge how well you're DIing since they make your launch angles more obvious. I guess it's not a huge deal, but overall, they're better to have than to not have. I think the colored smoke (as opposed to just gray always) mostly exists for timed FFAs so it will be obvious who will get a kill when someone is failing to recover so you can know if you should go out there and try to hit them.

Wait wat?? Sauria? That's a cool little nod to StarFox Adventures! I just don't get why nothing else about this game is ever acknowleged. And this video is reaaal cool.. but I heard StarFox Zero was **** so that's kind of a shame, cause I would like to play it still.

Anyone who cares about appearances. If you see BK flipping all over the place with his 70 pieces of giant plate armor and armor-dress, it'd look stupid clipping in and out of the place.

It wasn’t a problem with Mii Swordfighter Black Knight getting KO’ed just as easily as regular Mii Swordfighter, ahaha...
One could argue it’s Ike being disproportionately heavy due to extra equipment in his pockets that he isn’t using (kinda like Snake,) rather than Black Knight being disproportionately light.
