I guess I meant for this site. The point I was trying to make was that the censoring bull**** on this site is really stupid. Again, I had an Anchorman clip removed because the word "whorish" was in it, and his Egoraptor vid will likely get pulled to, when it's just fun memery.

You mean removed from Smashboards? Yeah, you can get swear warnings or infractions, even if you aren't actually doing the swears. (posting a tweet that has a swear, for example)
I sorta get it, but that's a bit silly.

This site is explicitly PG-13. Yes, we censor certain swear words. It's an automatic censorship. That also means that if a swear isn't censored, it's likely used in a reasonable context where it doesn't need to be. It's a courtesy towards others. Censor Dodging, to be clear, is either using an image/video to get around the literal autocensors or simply trying to censor a word yourself so it's more "obvious" of what it is. Both are bad. You can, however, still post a video if you give a warning that it has swearing in it(again, this is courtesy for others). For images, to avoid the issue, it's as simple as literally blanking out the censored words. If you're absolutely unsure of which words are censored, you can PM a Moderator for the full list.

Besides, when you post a tweet, it's your own job to actually make sure it isn't breaking the site's rules as well. We expect you to care about what content you post here. Of course, some might not know which swear is which. When you are given a warning PM, you can explain the situation. Yes, we do remove warnings/infractions if the situation was a misunderstanding. We aren't machines, we're actual people who care about helping you understand the rules too.

Maintaining a reputation. Kids being subject to harsh words is obviously common. But it has never been condoned. They prefer to seem as professional and respectful as possible here. That’s what they want. There’s nothing else to know. It isn’t “essential” to enforce such a rule. It’s just the way the admins want it. Simple as that.

My only gripe is if the site's pg-13, why can we link to 4chan, a potentially xxx rated site?
